We had a memorial dinner here and everything was almost faultless. To the staff welcoming us at the door, showing us to our seats. The service and the food was respectful and first class, I can't thank the hotel enough. I also had family staying at the hotel and they were well looked after as well.(We won't mention the person at the end of the day who was shouting across the room that we were still to pay, even though my husband had paid..)Thank you Glynhill, you made a sad day a bit more bearable with your lovely staff looking after us ❤️

Rooms were ok but need bit of updating due to marks over walls & tv unit, some issues with cleanliness, thick dust on bedside lamps, tv surround. Bedside table glass was loose & was sliding, bit unsafe.Only towels for one person yet 2 of us stayed. The housekeeping staff were unable to say if had a lift upstairs. The tribute night was good, food basic & very small amount. Breakfast was lovely & loads to choose from.Girl at reception was lovely & very welcoming.

We really liked it here. It's 15 minutes from the City Centre. Close to trains and bus services. Our room was nice and clean and their staff is very nice and friendly. I didn't use the spa services so I can't comment on that. They offer a very decent breakfast every day. They have a nice restaurant and a cute bar. If I'm ever back in Scotland this will be where I stay.

Stayed two nights for a work event. The entrance foyer is very nice, as is the restaurant. The room was fairly standard hotel room, nothing fancy but not shabby either. Reading reviews before I went, I was expecting sauna temperatures and a dirty room but the temperature was fine and the room was spotless, as was the rest of the hotel. My room was in thdcroof and had to big velux windows I could open right up. Unfortunately, being Glasgow, it was pouring rain and loads of traffic noise so had to close them.Used the spa on both nights, going between the sauna, steam room and pool. Glasgow residents also use the spa so you can have great conversation while you're using the facilities. The staff were very helpful and very nice. I did have a problem where my toilet wasn't flushing properly and blocked. I reported it at reception and it was fixed while I ate at he restaurant ready for me getting back to the room.Food was good, if service was a bit slow. Was disappointed by the portion size with the burger though to be honest.Overall a far better hotel experience than I usually experience for work things (I was left to book accommodation myself so went up a level) which are generally at a purple palace. Would definitely stay again. It's ideal for airport stays due to the location and teallyonly a few quid a night dearer than the usual airport hotels

This is good hotel, which is close to the airport. There is no air conditioning in rooms, so it quickly get hot in summer. There are fans provided though. The spa area is not bad with a pool, dry and wet sauna and small gym.

I try to leave positive reviews wherever possible but the reality was that this place wasn't up to standard. The main problem I had is when I went to the front desk to ask about my extremely uncomfortable bed, the man at the desk basically said it wasn't his problem and there was nothing he could do for me.This is always disappointing when your in a place like this. The venue itself was lovely and would be nice for a wedding but I just can't get over the response from the concierge when I had a concern. The one highlight was the room service guy who was called Jonathan, a young guy from Africa who was studying for a masters on top of working here, not only was he more helpful than the desk guy he was an absolutely lovely guy who was nice to talk to. Immediately sorted out the problem with the uncomfortable mattress and had great customer service ability. If the owner of the hotel/manager reads this I would recommend that the person at the desk is demoted and Jonathan take his place.

Breakfast buffet excellent with plenty of choice. The coffee however tasted like warm milk. Bar area seating grubby with drip marks down the bases of the chairs. Dust all along the window ledge. Used tissue in the lift for three days. Restaurant menu very mediocre. Window in bedroom only opened about three inches and only on one side so the room was too warm. Dust under the glass topped table in the bedroom. The hotel is looking very tired and could do with some sprucing up. On the positive side the staff are very helpful and friendly. Maybe I missed it but I felt it would have been more relaxing in the evening if there was a guest lounge to relax in.

Have stayed here a few times. Breakfast is wholesome. Dinner is good portions and good quality although the menu is sometimes a bit restricted. Rooms are comfortable although ones facing the road could be better noise insulated. Gym is basic but functional. Staff are really helpful. Helped me with sewing kit after a button fell off.

A completely pointless business now … my family have had connections with this hotel for over 20 years .. when it used to be great.I phoned earlier this week to enquire about rooms over Xmas … was promised a call back in5 minutes … nothing.I called today and explained that I didn’t get a call … the person on reception gave a big sigh and said he would try but then spent more time explaining he was on his own and may need to go to serve customers as I had called at the busiest time for check out on reception blah blah blah blah blah … the pointless idiot basically explained his life’s worries rather than sort my query out… bring back the old team … the current incumbents are absolute morons
