We had a wonderful meal at Starlings recently. We went with our wheat and milk intolerant son and we’re very well catered for. All our pizzas were delicious. Absolutely brilliant service and friendly staff. Great choice of interesting and local beers. Wine list good too. Highly recommended!

Exceptional food - everything was spot on, someone in the kitchen really knows what they’re doing! Lots of interesting, subtle flavours added, from the salad dressing to the crispy tofu (which was exceptional) and the home made humous which we enjoyed as part of the vegan sharing platter. Good beer selection and they are also dog friendly - one not to miss when in Harrogate.

We had our wedding reception at Starling. Service was fantastic. The pizza buffet was great. The decorations were lovely - white flowers and tea lights. Alex, the events manager, took a lot of stress out of the day. And they were also happy to price up a couple of our favourite cocktails to serve.

First time visit. Great vibe, appears to have a good range on the menu although we didn't eat this time. Lots of space too.Been back a few times but this time had food. Best value for money pizza. Fresh ingredients and great flavours.

Lovely little independent place. My partner and I like to come here for breakfast sometimes. Friendly staff, nice food, fairly priced, and nice new vibes with the refurb. My partners favourite is the veggie hash and I mostly go for the pancakes. Deffo recommend!

Really nice and relaxed place. Friendly staff and PIZZA IS JUST AMAZING! Do come in and try for yourself! Also dog-friendly, which is a massive plus! We will be coming back next time we're visiting Harrogate

I had genuine high hopes, as I'd heard great things, but I was left disappointed. I ordered a full English (I can't remember what it's listed as on the menu), and my mother ordered mushrooms on toast.My mother said she enjoyed her food, but mine wasn't as good, I'm afraid.The bacon was rock hard, like it had been re-cooked several times, the beans were hard, cold and had a funny taste, like they were mixed with blended tinned tomatoes and the black pudding was hard and overcooked. The sausages were nice, though, and so was the mushroom. I had also asked the gent on the bar for no tomato, but when the waitress brought it out, it had tomato on it. When I mentioned it to her, she took the plate back away, and it was brought back out a couple of minutes later, minus the tomato. I also had to ask for my knife to be replaced, as it had food stuck to the end of it, from previous use. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. The young lady that was working did check on us, but I'd not eaten much of the food yet, so I couldn't really give an honest review. Also my mother wanted to treat me, so I didn't want to upset her by complaining, but you need the feedback to improve in future. It's a lovely little venue, but just a few smaller attentive details need to be ironed out in my opinion.

Not my first visit to Starling, but my first since the refurbishment.It's a wonderful building, tastefully furnished, and with a great atmosphere. Staff are friendly and welcoming.The pizzas are excellent, and the chips... The best I've had in a long time. There's usually a great selection of beers available, enough to cater for most tastes.
