I bought a Peugeot Boxer from Belgrave Commercials. Wish I hadn't...Went to collect to find that the gearbox was grinding in 5th gear. Not happy as I had driven 40 miles to pick it up. The salesman apologised, said they would fix the 5th gear and put some fuel in the tank for my wasted trip. A week later I'm advised that the van is fixed and so I travelled back down to them to once again collect. Paperwork signed I got into the van to find the tank on red - so no fuel. Okay I thought, not to worry, I'll put that behind me and move on. Getting close to home, I am thrown out of 2nd gear with a crunch, then again and again. It being a Saturday, nobody answered the phone from 15:30 but they we're 'open' until 16:00. Sent an email, which is ignored on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. Spoke to Sales on Tuesday who said they couldn't find an issue and that the only thing they could suggest was a refund plus they again promised to cover my fuel costs. Refund finally received - no fuel cost (surprise, surprise!). I am left out of pocket for insurance, a month's road tax and 240 miles travel. The worst part is being lied to. BUYER BEWARE.

I've often taken my cars here for mot's and repairs for the past five years and they've always done a good job, always on time, at very fair prices.On my last mot, (which needed new front struts & springs) their parts supplier sent them the incorrect parts which, when fitted, made a noise. However, the garage diagnosed and rectified the problem(which wasn't their fault) really quickly and now it drives very well again. It wasn't an easy problem to identify but they made sure it was put right.Thank you to the garage team!

My husband bought a Ford Transit 64 plate with 63,000 miles on it from this place in Jan 2020 for £9,500 + vat. we have had nothing but trouble with it since owning. within 2 weeks of owning the van the brake pads failed even though it had just passed a 12 month mot done by them, on further inspection the pad was down to the metal. then 2 lower control arms needed replacing, DPF fully blocked causing the van to go into limp mode. Drive shaft replaced due to knocking and vibration through the steering wheel, drop links replaced (we did inform the garage and they did refund us for the brakes & drive shaft). Van hardly been used this last 3 months due to covid and then today van goes into limp mode again and had to replace the 2 air mass sensors at a cost of £180. we have had nothing but trouble with this van having only covered 3000 miles since we purchased it.

nearly £15000 spent on a van that leaks water, multiple attempts to fix this, among other issues that have been there since day 1 and are now void from warranty, also promised calls back but never received as they're trying to dodge the problem

I've used belgrave for 10 years buying 2 vans from themAnd every year get my mot and service done there with a courtesy vanWhile they do the work and have any work needed completed the same dayThis year they phoned me to say my mot was due so booked it inTook it down first thing I asked for a service but got refused asked for a courtesy car but they didn't give me one , waited an hr they phoned with the repairs needed I said go ahead and do itThey replied that they aren't taking on any work for 2 weeks!!I have taken a day off work and can't wait 2 weeksThe service has gone severely downhill in the past year or 2 and I won't be using them again

Brought a17 plate van 6 months ago,Within the 1st month it was leaking oil & the clutch had dropped to the floor,Over the next 3 months it was in another 3 times for the same fault there mechanics said they had fixed they also tightened up the handbrake!!!Took out the extended warranty with the AA in December. The next month it went back in again for the gearbox & clutch as the parts they put in last time we faulty!!!Earlier this month the vans handbrake failed & rolled into the road causing damage to the van & other vehicles.When the van was in the garage steve got in with the handbrake half up & he drove the van (it shouldn’t move)It’s now been fixed in another garage where they tighten up the handbrake & done a MOT. It failed the mot on emission at a cost of over a £1000 if i never had the warranty!!!My advice would be if you have to deal with this firm take out the AA warranty!!!
