I had a much loved but ill fitting and bent out of shape Cartier Trinity wedding ring. The complexity and cost of the work to repair and re-size to my to chubby middle-aged fingers had always put me off. David brought it back to life - my ring has been returned to me as new. David has made a beautiful ring using a couple of my old rings and a small diamond pendant. Although I had shown him a few ideas, I had no idea how the finished product would look and was a little apprehensive when fetching it. I should have had no doubts. Taking gold from two rings belonging to my father and creating a brand new Irish harp ring inspired by one of the old ones provided me with an object of great significance. Earlier this year I stumbled across David Reale Jewellers whilst visiting my daughter in Dorset. I went into the shop on a whim because I had been thinking of commissioning some pieces of jewellery using some of the items I frequently wore and others that had sat in my jewellery box for years. Many were very sentimental and I wanted to have some bespoke pieces made that would incorporate all that I loved into a few pieces that I would wear every day.David and I spent time going into the detail of what I wanted and he patiently sketched some designs which I was happy with and I gave him the go ahead to create a couple of rings and bangles.As I live many miles from the workshop my visits were infrequent but somehow I knew he would create something beautiful.....And, I was not disappointed! I was overwhelmed with the beauty and quality of the pieces David created for me. They are unique, stunning pieces which I will cherish for many years. I will then pass on these wonderful pieces to my daughter and grand-daughters and down through the generations of my family for years to come. I know they will always be loved for the memories they hold and the stunning workmanship behind the beautiful jewellery.Thank you David and Elizabeth, the quality of the pieces and the service you provided were second to none, I will be back!
