Everything in this store is dirty and no hygiene at all that they care about.I come to this store the end of October with my friend, both had a coffee and the same toastie…That night we both come down severely ill at the same time and I was still very unwell for two weeks, I’ve complained to this branch and they do not care to what I got from this store with lack of hygiene/food standards. Please avoid this branch, even the customer service from in store to management is even bad, You could end up ill like I have been!**Just to add, before coming to the store, we was absolutely fine**There was flies all around us when we was sat there also.Worst Starbucks I’ve been too in Cardiff and I am a regular Starbucks customer.

Hi, I just went to your Newport Rd, cardiff store 25634. I wanted to order a cake which was in the cabinet but there were bluebottle flies trapped inside! I told the member of staff who just said “I’ll sort it out later” and shrugged off my concerns. She took the rest of my order and whilst I waited, she still didn’t try to clear these flies!She was not apologetic nor thankful. Nor did she look at my eyes whilst serving. A bit rude really.I am not impressed. I totally understand that we can’t completely stop flies but the cake cabinet doors were shut, so the flies just stay trapped inside!

One of dirtiest coffee shops I’ve ever visited, 3 members of staff behind the counter 2 of them on their phones, just a suggestion but maybe clean up some of the countless tables with empty cups and plates!

Everything in this store is dirty. There’s flies on the food they sell and visible crumbs and spillages everywhere. Staff were just stood around talking to each other, was stood waiting at till for 5 minutes being ignored but I noticed how disgusting the place was in this time and left. How this place has any positive reviews is beyond me - possibly fake? I will be reporting this store for its food safety violations. How can you sell cakes that have flies on? This place is going to make someone sick, sort it out!

How can a coffee shop be so filthy! After working for this franchise myself for nearly 7 years I am embarrassed that they are representing a huge chain. The staff are shockingly slow and the drive thru wasn't even open. The staff cannot make their own drinks to brand standards. Leon should be ashamed that he isn't enforcing rules. Absolutely disgusting! Why is this place still open. Avoid this store guys! You'll be walking out with some form of infection

Staff were uninterested and lacked basic customer service skills. Were too busy having their own conversation.Drink was made in a takeaway cup despite staying in and same for the panini, it was handed to me in a paper bag.Bin was over flowing taking over the sugar/ stirrer station.Coffee was warm at best!

Dirtiest coffee shop I’ve ever been in! Food crumbs widespread, used plates and cups left the whole time with staff just chatting for over an hour though it was really quiet. Flies constantly landing on cups, dirty tables etc. Never again especially as there’s a clean McDonalds next door - ugh!

Thankyou Leyla for great service tonight! The shop was having issues with equipment which was clearly causing all sorts of problems. Despite thisI've got to say Leyla had a brilliant, calm and friendly attitude going out of her way and being creative to sort out our order. You don't get much better than this for customer experience IMO!

Purchased our first pumpkin spice latte on the year yesterday!I was very disappointed, paid £5.20 for a very weak coffee with a hint of spice!This isn't the first time we've ordered a season drink here and left disappointed!As it's very local, we want to support it, but this is the last time we will visit. We will happily travel elsewhere further afield, where we know they make a great coffee.Also to add, in the past, we have politely complained and have been greeted with attitude and disagreement.
