I have had nothing but great experiences from Andrew. The prices are around the same as the supermarket but the quality is great. I always feel like Andrew is genuinely happy to see me every time I go in. He has no issue cutting me a thicker steak and sometimes even has something special in the back he brings out for me.I recommend this butcher to everyone I can.

My experience of shopping with this establishment was terrible. Staff members were quite racist, ignorant and unprofessional.At the start I asked a member of staff who was serving me to identify what cut of beef was presented since it was not labeled. Upon hearing my question, another member of staff who was behind the counter laughed and said 'well beef definitely came from the farm'. It was very upsetting that they would treat a customer with such low level of respect and no one else in the establishment thought it was a problem since no one said anything about the remark.A man behind the counter stepped in and answered my question. He then followed up by asking me what type of dish I intend to use the beef in. I explained to him that the beef was for Chinese hotpot, where beef is sliced very thin and cooked quickly in broth. He told me that what I explained wasn't hotpot which is absurd since I am very certain that I know what I'm talking about since I'm Chinese and I've had Chinese hotpot before. I do know that British hotpot is similar to a stew, where the meat and other ingredients are cooked for an extended period of time. I explained that I know there was a difference between the two types of hotpot but the man remains ignorant and explains to me that I have no idea what I was talking about.At that point I've lost all respect for the establishment since staff members could just disregard whatever the customer say and refuse to understand there is a difference between different types of hotpots and just be a bigot.After realising that the man is not capable of understanding what a Chinese hotpot is, I just told him I will be cooking the beef very quickly and it is not for a stew. He took a piece of beef and gave me the portion that I requested.Overall my experience with this horrendous establishment was extremely unpleasant and I would not recommend anyone to go near this joke of a store.

Michael Wrong. I have been a patron of this fine butchers for over a year and have nothing but praise for the service, quality and knowledge of Mr Sykes and his fantastic colleagues. The quality is everything you would expect from an artisan butcher, sold at supermarket beating prices. Truly wonderful
