A few points:As a 1st time visitor here the course layout is not the best signposted with the tee off signs embedded flat into the ground.Compounding that, you pay £5 for the course score card!(?) That's on top of what I'd regard as a costlier round. That's really the only way we found our way through the course on a day besieged by inclement weather and reduced visibility.I'm glad they were able to keep the course open and a return in better climes is required as the Downs' views look awesome.Update: Apologies for incorrectly calling the purchased course guide the scorecard which is provided free. Thanks to Surrey Downs for their response.

We’ve just had our first corporate golf day at Surrey Downs. The feedback from ALL our clients has been fantastic. Everyone loved the course, which was in superb condition, the relaxed and homely ambiance, and the food, which was some of the best I’ve had at any golf club. This was all topped off by the staff, who were very attentive, friendly and accommodating to late requests for changes of food, buggies, clothes purchased and the like. Our Daughter's wedding was here. Rachel was fantastic helping us as was everyone else. Surroundings are absolutely lovely, even though there are golfers littering the place :)Staff are very accomodating and helpful, but before, during and after the wedding.The food was very good... Canapes, main meal and buffet in the evening.Having the patio outside looking over the rolling grass is great, esp for those perfect wedding pics.No idea about the golf, but great for weddings

Lovely course. Greedy owners squeezing in tee times every 5 mins. Waiting 5 minutes every hole. Won't come back untill that changes. Not worth £55 if waiting all the time.

Could not fault SD, from the easy on line booking system, with no early up front payment, to the excellent, friendly, and professional staff. Made to feel welcome with a smile. First time we have played the course and we were not disappointed, mature and well cared for. The fairways are generous & both the T boxes and greens are above average. An interesting course that's definitely worth a visit.

We recently had our wedding at Surrey downs golf club and couldn’t be more happier with how it went. Rachael was so friendly and helpful making sure we got everything we wanted for our wedding day. The food was delicious and the staff were very efficient. Would definitely recommend booking them for your venue. Lastly the location is stunning.

We held our wedding and reception in the Willow Suite at SDGCAkila the manager and his staff could not have been more helpful and accommodating they bent over backwards to make sure that the day ran smoothly, the food was excellent, the sevice superb, the bar staff friendly and efficient, all added to make a perfect day.We would highly recommendYvonne and Gareth

We had our wedding at Surrey Downs and it was amazing from start to finish.Rachael the wedding coordinator is a credit to the company and made everything go smoothly on the day.The staff were fantastic and friendly.The food was just amazing.The venue itself is beautiful and the grounds are great for photos.

Lovely venue for a family party. Attended an event here and the staff Shaun and Esme were lovely and very accommodating. Food was delicious. Good parking. Clean toilets. Easy disabled access.

Fun little course with some great holes. My favourites were 8 and 18. Some holes were a little boring but on the whole was a good challenge.respect for opening the course but some greens were saturated which made putting a real challenge. But for the money il give this 5 stars.
