Came in before the Wolves game, great selection of beers. Friendly staff and a great atmosphere. Family friendly as well... there were children playing Mario kart on a big screen. Try the signature shot! Will be back

A great atmosphere, excellent service and friendly staff who seem genuinely interested in attending to their customers needs. I highly recommend this place. However beware of the stairs to get there, you will need that first drink to recover.

Found this place by accident. What have I been missing? What a bar gaffer and staff are very welcoming, the beers very good and the atmosphere is amazing. The games room is an amazing way to relive your childhood. Music was varied and the right level. I'm yet to experience a live night but I will. I highly recommend this bar its well worth the climb up the steps.

Absolutely fantastic bar. Been a few times now and it's a great independent venue. On the top, top floor a bar with a great vibe and all the staff incredibly friendly, manager richard in particular. Secret old school arcade room out the back. Loads of different types of gigs and events throughout the month. Great work guys keep it up!

Our bartender was exceptional: friendly, knew his beers, whiskies, gins (and no doubt other drinks), played good music, and was fun to chat to. Everyone in the bar seemed friendly, the general atmosphere was fun, and the bouncer was nice too.

Never knew this place existed till the other night. They have different rooms with a photobooth, dance floor, and even a game's room! ✨️DIVE is so cool i definitely recommend✨️

A real hidden gem, the sort of place Wolverhampton needs. You'd be forgiven for not knowing where DIVE is - there's a small sign and the letters D I V E painted on the wall - on Exchange Street. In fact, the first time you might realise that this establishment exists is if you're sitting opposite in the beer garden of the Lych Gate Tavern.So how do you access DIVE? You enter the same doorway that advertises Sinderella's Showbar and head upstairs. Keep going up, past the entrance to Sinderella's and finally, at the 3rd floor, you've arrived at DIVE.Is it worth the walk up those stairs? I'll let you be the judge of that - for me, the answer is a resounding yes!DIVE bar has three inter-joining rooms, the first has the bar with a selection of draft beers including Beavertown Gamma Ray, Vedett and Freedom Lager. Fridges are stocked with further beer, a nice selection overall. Behind the bar on shelves are the spirits, quite the collection and some rare gems you won't find elsewhere in Wolverhampton (peanut butter whiskey anyone?).Food comes in the form of pizza from nearby Fireaway Pizza - truly delicious and a great option if you're in with friends for a couple of drinks and are feeling a little peckish. There is adequate seating including booths with views over St Peter's Square and the church itself. Wolverhampton probably doesn't have another bar with views as good as this.In the second room is a small stage - ideal for up and coming bands and intimate gigs. A welcome surprise leading off from here is a very small room containing arcade machines and a pinball game!To sum up, DIVE is a quirky little gem of a bar hidden away on the third floor of Exchange Vaults, in the loft above the Cuban Exchange and Sinderella's Showbar. It's the type of place you can head to with friends for a relaxed, good time - still quite hidden at present it won't stay that way for long as people catch on. Open until 3am (at weekends anyway - check this), there aren't many other 'pub' style establishments where you can relax with friends in a cool, continental type venue and a relaxed atmosphere.

John, mammy, James, Jay all amazing and welcoming. I had a fantastic night with them, they were all friendly, welcoming and looked after us for the entire evening. Cocktails are excellent and the pints are fresh and untainted unlike other pubs I've been to in Wolverhampton. The old-school decor is really funky, unique and atmosphere amazing with bespoke lighting throughout the bar and seating areas. Would highly recommend this bar for anyone who likes a safe drinking area and good company!

We didn't know this place existed until we read about it in the express and star and decided to give it a try last night.I wanted to give it two stars but in all honesty can only give it five.I wasn't sure what to make of it when we first walked in, everything appeared to be painted black (it possible I'd drank more than usual before arrival) and the furniture cobbled together from a tip-run. At 21:30hrs the place was practically empty but things picked up from 2200hrs onwards.The negatives: Stairs, they're not for the faint of heart.I asked for a cider and the girl serving pointed to the fridge and then £4:60 for a Thatcher's.The toilets, gave me PTSD flash backs from places I drank back in the 90's, I may need a tetanus shot this morning.The positives, friendly staff, doormen was friendly and relaxed not flexing like you see at some venues. I'm not sure who the guy was running around pouring shots of whiskey into people's mouths from the bottle was but he had a great positive energy, not something I'd experienced in a good few years. The bar staff were friendly and efficient, nobody appeared to be waiting long to get served, I certainly wasn't.The music was as eclectic as the clientele, definitely brought back memories of The Varsity back in the day.The vibe, OMG THE VIBE...people dancing just doing their thing, people chatting with complete strangers having a laugh nobody appeared to be taking themselves seriously and were just living in the moment (nobody glued to their phones, couple of lads filming their mates dancing then showing them).We will definitely be back if you haven't visited, You should!!

We booked our staff party at this location and everything was perfect from the very start. The owner Jonny and the team were all so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best time. The games and beer pong were a huge hit and the bar staff were excellent abd kept the drinks flowing. I would highly recommend coming to this place for any occasion, just for a drink or a party too! Excellent space and excellent venue for a drink and a party
