Prezzo Italian Restaurant Reading
We had a good night out at Prezzo in Reading. I ordered garlic bread and the ravioli with crab and lobster, both of which were delicious. My friends enjoyed their pizzas as well. The service was perfect, and we left with satisfied taste buds and smiles on our faces. As it is a chain it cannot reach top notch quality, and there are more authentic italian restaurant in Reading.

Prezzo Italian Restaurant Reading
Only went here as we had a voucher. If I want Italian I would prefer to go to a family owned business rather than a chain (to which there are plenty of in Reading). The food is quite nice but is way overpriced. Service is slow and the staff have this strange pretentious attitude for some reason. We asked for some ketchup for my son’s pepperoni pizza “you mean red sauce” the waitress said, and brought over a tea spoon of ketchup in a china pot - get over yourselves - your a chain with 150+ restaurants. Just let us have the bottle!

Unfortunately, the worst pizza I’ve ever had, I ordered vegetarian chicken and I pepper and the topping chicken was as hard as a rock and was burnt!However, the waitress who served us was very welcoming and helpful.But I cannot recommend this place to anybody at all!

Lovely experience!We arrived after 9pm for dinner, really hungry after a busy day.We had Mushroom and Ham pizz - really really good, wow, well seasoned, fresh and deliciousPasta with prawns- classic Italian but they use Mother pasta sauce "

Prezzo sent me a birthday gift in the form of a voucher to redeem against a drink or desert, a very nice gesture.I don’t know Reading that well but the restaurant was conveniently located in the corner of King st, part of the hustle and bustle of all that was taking place, which made it very easy to find. The inside displayed modern art deco and tables were found in different parts of this large building.The service was not brilliant, but once I explained that we are pressed for time they were very helpful and attentive.The food was a let down, I paid for extra olives & pepper and still got a naked pizza.Thé désert was nice.They really need to find better chefs.

I recently visited this restaurant and ordered the Alfredo Tagliatelle and Margherita Pizza, and I have to say, it was one of the best meals I've had in a long time. The food was absolutely delicious - I give it a perfect 10/10 for taste and overall quality.The service was equally impressive. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and professional. She made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and was very knowledgeable about the menu. I give the service a perfect 10/10 as well.Overall, I highly recommend this restaurant. The food and service were both exceptional, and I can't wait to come back again. Thank you to the waitress and the rest of the staff for making our experience so enjoyable. Keep up the great work!

The person looking after us was very friendly and efficient, it's a pity the food did not live up to much. It was cold , dry, gutless and not as described on the menu. We had the saltambuco. I've never seen a roast potato dished up as a jacket spud.Never again.

Prezzo is an amazing place if you want to try something ItalianThey do amazing pizza's, pasta, burgers, calzones and dessertsThey have a vast menu for vegetarian, vegan and gluten freeThey do not do any vegetarian or vegan burgersGood options of wine, cocktails and beers.The desserts are amazing and i will totally recommend the chocolate cakeDo register for their updates, as you may get good discounts (like one free prosecco bottle or 2 dessert

The beer is great, the food is fine, up to my expectation. But there is a serious flaw in this restaurants.Our dinner is ruined by a poor service from a waiter/manger who dress differently. He simply presented a bill to us by surprise. I thought that we took too long there, but it was only an hour meal.Perhaps this table was reserved to someone, although we also reserved. However, It would be nice to ask if we want a bill before he present it.I have no idea why he did that, but that’s the nicest reason I come up with.So, not an ideal choice of place if you want to stay a little while after meal.Btw, make sure you book the table. We have been asked by the same people whether we made a booking when we were sitting down.I don’t understand what was going on, it sounds like we are an intruder who were pretending?I don’t want to take it personally, but I wasn’t feeling that we were welcome to this restaurant.
