We had such an incredible experience here, would highly recommend! Excellent staff and customer service, they were flexible with our timings and the bikes are very reliable. Lovely scenic cycle routes nearby they recommended. What more could you want?

I phoned around midday to see if my bicycle could be fixed the same day as I needed it for the following day. The gentleman at Harbour Bikes fit my repair into his schedule and had my bike fixed and ready for collection by 4pm. He explained what the issues were to me and even pumped up my front tyre too which I hadn't mentioned but saves me having to do it myself later. Brilliant customer service. Remember to use your local independent businesses, they're going to struggle more and more over the next couple of years. Use them, or lose them.

These guys saved my day! On my bday took my bike in the train to Ramsgate for a cycling fun day by the coast. Unfortunately my bike unexpectedly stopped peddling and couldn't cycle any more. Went to the Harbour Bikes and it turned out I could have my bike repaired while I hired one their bikes! Thanks to them I didn't loose the day, and had a great cycle around. They have few options for rental bikes so go check them out.

Excellent service. Taken 2 bikes here now for a derailleur alignment and they fit it in same day for a 10 minute job which other local bike shops claim i'd have to wait up to 2 weeks for (laziness in my opinion). So overall I highly recommend Harbour Bikes.

We were visiting Ramsgate for a weekend and rented some bikes from Harbour bikes. I'd never ridden a bike outside a park or gym so was nervous, the person who helped us was super reassuring. He made sure I was comfortable, let me have a quick practice ride and ensured the bike was set up properly for me. He recommended a route that was low traffic, scenic and suitable for a beginner - We went to Sandwich and stopped off at the viking cafe on the way. Outstanding service, great bikes and what an experience! We loved it and are already planning our next cycling trip. It totally made our weekend. Would really recommend Harbour bikes: from the quality of bike to their professionalism. Appreciated their advice for the route we took as it was spot on

Barry at Harbour Bikes is a star, great service when we hired bikes for the day. He has the place open by 9am but give him a call in advance. £15 per day for standard Pashley 3 speed with chunky, puncture resistant tires or £40 p/d for an ebike. We easily managed to cycle along the coast to Walpole tidal pool with two teenagers. Even on a bank holiday weekend there weren't any lunatic drivers to ruin our trip.
