A wonderful tiny jam packed bookshop full of gems from Scottish history and literature as well as current releases. Although small leave plenty time for browsing here as the books are packed to the ceiling. A book lovers delight. Also selling some very pretty notebooks and maps of the local areas. Definitely worth a visit when you are in Stromness.

This lovely bookshop, while small, has a good collection of books that make one want to linger and browse. There is a good collection of books from writers in the area and the lady in the shop was very helpful and friendly.

Wonderful tiny bookshop with a very knowledgeable owner. Fits about three customers at once, and pushchairs, prams, etc can perch outside. Found a book I hadn't found elsewhere and lots by local authors.

Small and cramped bookshop on the main street. Both me and my partner felt uncomfortable here, and left without buying anything. Firstly the man behind the counter was watching us both intensely as we were browsing, which made us feel unwelcome. Secondly, my partner had our baby son in a pram who started making raspberries, and the owner did an overly dramatic sigh and seemed annoyed at the presence of the baby.
