Mari Joyce Somatic Therapies

Mari Joyce is an excellent massage therapist. I cannot recommend her highly enough.She is careful, kind, considerate, welcoming and friendly. She runs a fastidiously clean clinic which is warm and comfortable.I have used many several different massage therapists for my complicated situation over many, many years. Mari is by far the best. She is so knowledgeable and sensitive, applying exactly the right amount of pressure that is needed at different times. She works holistically and has helped my body to stop the habit of disassociation.I am selfishly sad after two years of wonderful massage to see her move to the other end of Britain! I see Mari for craniosacral therapy in Glasgow and I cannot emphasise enough how impressed I am by my therapy with her. The physical difference I feel between when I walk into and out of my treatment is huge. After going through an incredibly tumultuous time, craniosacral therapy with Mari has helped me find a grounded, healing space in which I can address the amplified stress my body is holding. Mari gives excellent guidance throughout the session and accessible suggestions on what to do between therapy appointments. I highly recommend her.

I had a session with Mari while on a retreat together, while I was experiencing a lot of difficult emotions and associated discomfort in my body. I finished feeling deeply grounded, calm and centred. If I lived anywhere nearby now, I would certainly be going to her for regular sessions! Very intuitive, kind and effective. It was several years ago now, but I still remember being surrounded and held by her warm presence when I think back to it.

I’ve enjoyed the massage and Craniosacral sessions I’ve had with Mari and I recommend her treatments.I wasn’t sure what to expect when I had first had a Craniosacral session. It was at a time I was under a lot of stress. The treatment was deeply settling. I felt really calm afterwards. It seemed to have a lasting impact; I had a really restful sleep and felt less stress throughout the week. I also liked the suggestions she gave me for things I could do at home to maintain the calm sensations.

Mari is someone with striking and palpable wisdom of the body. I’ve been seeing her, and the improvements are felt immediately and stay with you for days. She is also gentle, very kind and intuitive. I Absolutely love my days spent seeing her at my appointments.
