Lovely little cafe a bit further up the road, so there aren't as many people. Good if you need some time to unwind. Non-dairy options available for coffee.

Amazing coffee and skones and views! Whoever gave this place 1 star should be dipped in BBQ sauce and fed to the Nessie. The cakes are excellent, the service is friendly, and the wifi is fast. A perfect cafe.

Stayed in Fort Augustus for the week and absolutely enjoyed having a cup of tea in this lovely place.It is cozy, warm, and welcoming. The scones were very yummy and service was great. The owner is very nice and attentive to her customers: she took the time to talk to us while it was past closing time, and you can tell she puts a lot of efforts into this tea room and gift shop. The gifts there are original and support local crafts.I very much recommend stopping by Ripples if you visit or come through Fort Augustus.

Amazing fresh homemade cakes. Carrot cake and the scones were just to die for. The staff is lovely and friendly. The cakes are so fresh, something you can’t find in many places anymore. This place is a must if you’re around. Worth a stop.

Lovely place for coffee and cake by the canal side. Got a table right next to the canal outside and had a great latte with oat milk and a cake. Always appreciate dairy free milk options.

Ripples had the best scone we had in Scotland!! And we had a lot! Lovely cream and a deliciously moist scone! Coffee was excellent are served with a smile by the lovely ladies there. We went twice in our 3 night stay!

It could have been a good experience!Last week while on holiday, we visited Ripples Tearoom and sat outside in the designated seating area. We were served coffee and scones, but within minutes the heavens opened.We were the only ones sitting outside and so retreated to the cafe, cups and scones in hand but nowhere to lay them down or to sit because like minded folk also sheltering from the rain descended upon the cafe, bagging all available seats/tables prior to ordering. I pointed this out to the server who agreed that people without food should move, but she was not prepared to help. So, there we were, feeling like 'spare parts' in a small overcrowded area, still holding on to our coffee and scones which we eventually had to leave on the counter.Not impressed with the service/attitude/owner, rightly so we were given a refund.

Excellent coffee. It was the only non-touristy place that I could find. A pleasant place to have a snack. It's not too far to walk from the main car park.
