Westcroft Cottage

Beautiful location, gorgeous views. Appledore is a friendly helpful village and so dog friendly. Cute cottage. Well stocked kitchen. Clean linen. Generous amount and size of towels. Enjoyed the en-suite room. Close to car park. Biscuits and hot drink on arrival. However there were several disappointments. The garden furniture is old and broken in parts with the patio looking tired and rather dirty. There is no dustpan and no attachments for the hoover. There is no hanging space for 3 of the 4 bedrooms so we lived out of our suitcases. Shower door in the ensuite does not close properly. All the taps in the house need adjusting. All the rugs are stained and need to be replaced including the bath mats. The first floor toilet cistern runs constantly. Anti slip mats would be helpful. The cottage as a whole needs a good clean and a touch of tlc.
