Very mixed emotions writing this review. My Labrador Molly became pregnant with my other Labrador completely unplanned back in July as I'd like to state I am not a breeder nor to I agree with breeding dogs for profit.I took my Labrador Molly to vets now as she stalled during labour after delivering her first pup on Friday 22nd of September I rung vets now to ask to bring her up as she's been around four hours since delivering the last pup. When I arrived there both myself and Molly were treated like a complete inconvenience by a female nurse with black hair and glasses who was extremely abrupt and very rude, who commented that I should have got her spayed" before even looking at her.She scanned Molly confirmed there were two / three additional pups in in Molly possibly more but couldn't tell due to her milk sacks being too full so she quickly gave Molly an oxitocin injection despite me asking if a C section was possible and sent us on our way.Molly delivered another two pups an hour or so later

I took my dog on a Sunday evening as an emergency. I wasn't allowed in the consulting room with him. When the vet brought him out she then proceeded to discuss his condition in the waiting room in front of the other people who were waiting. They also took a long time to process my insurance claim

Very happy with the service we received for our dog who swallowed a sock. Lorna is absolutely amazing and very friendly and so is all the staff. A pleasure to deal with and gave a full break down of the cost and insurance options

I took my 7mth old rottweiler in to be checked, the vet didn't know how to deal with a dog of that size. My husband and I had to help him so she could be examined, not all dogs that need to be seen are small and Fluffie.

Getting through call centre with critically ill pet was extremely stressful and took so much longer than it should.Arrived at surgery but other than being booked in no one looked at my dog for over 30 mins, luckily I have veterinary training and knew that things were improving but no one actually checked! I understand vet seeing emergency in kennels but not even a nurse triage.Appalling service and I will be feeding back to the surgery you are covering after hours for.

Took my cat here after being advised to do so by the vet nurse at my insurance. Receptionist was lovely but the vet that saw me was very patronising and critical and made me feel even worse than I already was about my cat. Felt like I was inconveniencing them by being there and the charges were ridiculously high.

I am after two years still suffering after the way my sweet sweet girl was treated. I am suffering from PTSD and dread every Saturday . I pray to God I never have to use their services ever again. The vets there were appalling and at one point sniggered when about to put my dog to sleep. I will never forgive myself for making that phonecall to book her in. Both the nurse and vet that treated my beautiful girl should be struck off and this place shutDown. I feel that strongly even after two years. Yes it's taken two years to write this. You broke both myself and my husbands heart that night by not being clear and not enabling US TO MAKE THE DECISION in a timely manner. This vets have broken me and my trust has gone of all vets because of your actions.

My cat got very sick and needed urgent care. She's still undergoing treatment but the staff have been amazing. They have worked really hard to try and give her the best chance possible. And they didn't give up even when the outcome looked really bleak. Thanks to the staff, there is now a chance I may be able to bring my girl home in a few days.

Our dog had to spend a couple nights in a row at Vets Now Swansea after a mysterious illness caused him to become seriously ill. He was looked after completely and is making a recovery. The staff there are extremely friendly, understanding, and caring. Everything was explained to us up front from care for our dog, the process, and estimated costs. We were kept up to date during his stay and given information about what everything meant. We are extremely grateful to Vets Now for the service they have provided us.

Took my dog to PDSA out of hours in Llansamlet as my 17 year old dog had a seizure and was having difficulty breathing. The vet diagnosed advanced heart failure and advised of symptoms to be aware of. I raised the question how long my dog had left to live and specifically said is it one day, one year. He could not give a timeframe, which was fair enough but did not indicate anything urgent or imminent and suggested I contact the vet the next day.We went home and our dog suffered a number of seizures overnight and had almost passed away by the time we took her to our vets in skewen early the next morning. After examination by the vet in skewen, he diagnosed advanced heart failure but also fluid on the lungs. After a brief round of oxygen our dog improved and after further treatment to reduce the fluid in lungs she is now home on tablets and is no longer having seizures or breathing difficulties. I can’t thank Fforest vets enough, great service. However, I cannot say this for my emergency visit to Llansamlet as no treatment was offered, which could have prevented the further seizures that night…..in addition, we paid over £270 for this unsatisfactory service….Hence one star!
