The Gower Golf Club

Amazing service, lovely friendly owners, Bev and Adrian who can't do enough for you. This is mirrored by the staff. I would recommend this place for any event including weddings. You won't be disappointed. Wish I could give more than 5 stars.

Had a great nights rest here, Adrian and his team are excellent, very freindly and helpful, Lots of local knowledge. Its a gem off the beaten track and perfect as a base for exploring the Gower Peninsula. large well kept clean rooms and an excellent full English breakfast with all the trimmings. It's so quiet aswell so had a good night's sleep. The bar is a good place to chill out and Adrian and Ellie are good hosts. This is now my go to place for accommodation on future visits to the Gower, a hidden treasure.

Booked 3 double rooms for family who were coming to our daughters wedding. What can I say! We had to pick up keys because we were told there would be no one on reception after 9 also when guests arrived bar was closed at 9. Nowhere to get food or drink / water . Rooms were filthy not clean with clothes and somebodies medication in a drawer ! No coffee/ milk / sugar supplies to even make one coffee . No staff to complain to. No breakfast available . Family had to go to local garage to get water and a sandwich and had to wait till following day at lunchtime to eat ! Not good when they were elderly and diabetic . I would not recommend to anyone and I’m so upset that I put family in such an awful place. A friend also booked a room there that weekend , she opened her curtains to have a view of the bins outside her window and brick wall !DONT waste your money ! There are better hotels in Swansea

This motel style, cheap accommodation has the potential to be great but is sadly lacking in many areas. Upon checking in, was told that the bar and restaurant was closed and no dinner or breakfast was available. This was not advised prior to check in so meant a 30 min round trip down the single track, potholed lane to go to a local service station to buy a sandwich.The room was a decent size but VERY tired with dirty marks on all the furniture and in the bathroom. I was unable to connect to the wifi for the first hour - although did thankfully later get access. The TV was broken. The walls are paper thin and could hear peoples conversation in the adjoining room.All in all, not an experience I would ever like to repeat. I was away with work and spent a miserable and lonely night eating a service station sandwich with absolutely nothing to do. Couldn’t even watch TV!The two points awarded are for the lovely Beth who welcomed me warmly at check in and the large bed which was surprisingly very comfortable. Everything else was hideous

Great place to get away, visited AONB - beaches etc and had breakfast and evening meals at this hotel.Great service, very welcoming. It was extremely cold when we visited. However, the rooms were lovely and warm.Would certainly return.

Lovely course in good shape for early season. Loved the long par 5 with testing water feature hole!All par 3 were a test and required a good degree of accuracy.

I didnt stay at the venue but went around the course. The view is beautiful and the course was fun

Booked thee rooms, but when we got there they had double booked apparently . We were told we had to share a room and the staff were extremely rude. Said it wasn’t their problem and we had to sort it out! We ended up not staying and he was even more rude as we left. Do not waste your money or time booking this place!

We chose to stay here as it was in a convenient location of where we needed to be.Sadly, the rooms are very tired and in dire need of a refurb. The golf house where you check in and eat breakfast was also looking very tired.The rooms were not cleaned during your stay due to COVID, but they clearly weren’t cleaned after your stay either as ours was dirty when we arrived.The breakfast is quite disjointed with self serve on some things and waitress service on others. The food itself was simple and average but did the job.For £90 a night Gower Golf Club didn’t meet up to my expectations at all, and although I like to support independent businesses, I’d have felt a lot more comfortable in a Premier Inn so will be booking there next time.
