Played the golf course today was great value for money and the course was lovely,Man in the pro shop was very helpful and welcoming. Highly recommend, will be back again

Only stayed for the one night but it was the best nights sleep i had.The chicken stuffed with haggis was definitely my fav.Loved the golf ball door stop . Nice touch

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced. The evening food in the bar / restaurant was lovely, as were the staff. Friendly and professional. The morning breakfast team didn't even greet us with a courtesy good morning " they just pointed us to a table and told its self service. They then stood huddled around the bar with hands in pockets or on their mobiles. 2 elderly ladies clearly needed help with navigating the breakfast service. Which we tried to help them with.Breakfast itself was buffet style

Really nice golf club with a good layout, played it on the first day of our Scotland trip, greens were hit and miss but still playable, just a note the week prior to our arrival the course was under snow, it would be nice to play it in the summer to get a good scope of the course.

21 year old venue where nothing has been spared in cost terms to create a first class total golf experience. While the fairways look and feel young and less than fully matured, the greens more than make up, being challenging yet fair. The facilities across the estate are amazing! Excellent practice range (yet mediocre putting green) . Excellent clubhouse ( yet totally lacking a bar seating area of any note for visitors). Wife and I stayed in a lodge which was as comfortable as any decent hotel room. We ate at the clubhouse too, and were impressed at the quality of the fare, at a reasonable price too. Overall, a great experience, and I look forward to returning soonest

Stunning coastal links - expect lots of wind and hidden pin positions. Rough wasn’t to aggressive and pretty open to be forgive a few wayward tee shots. Greens in good nick, some challenging undulations. We were a big group on a stag and they were fantastic hosts, look forward to a return visit.

I’ve played nearly all the East Lothian courses, from Gullane No 1 to The Renaissance Club. Craigielaw is a criminally underrated golf course whose condition on our visit was far superior to Gullane 1 and less than half the price. If you want a course that’s different, and fun this is the place. Understated and better for it….
