Went to use the public weighbridge. Excellent service & facilities. Don't go in the week unless it's within an hour of opening/closing or you'll end up in with the trade lorries weighing in. I went on a Sunday afternoon around 1pm. Had the whole area to ourselves. Staff were very friendly, efficient & great customer service.

Only a 10 Minute Wait And It Was Nice And Tidy as we Arrived ... No Signs Of Vermin which they deserve Credit For..... Staff Seemed Friendly And Helpful .... Full Credit To The Team Here ....

There is wheelchair access if you use a vehicle to first get inside the yard, you can then unload your wheelchair, you cannot access with wheelchair

Website says they open at 8am on Sunday morning, which is a plain lie. There’s a typical, massive queue and they do not open until 10am. Surely it isn’t too difficult to have the ‘actual’ time you open on your website? Ridiculous…

I’ve been plenty of times as I’m a local. Recently I’ve been stopped and refused access due to owning a converted van. Last time I questioned it and asked for a supervisor who immediately let me in even then the guy on the gate who seemed to be on a power trip was arguing with his supervisor. Does Bolton council want flytipping?
