Nigel and Dan at Highclere Tree Works are very friendly, professional, responsive and very reliable. We have worked with them twice now and we are absolutely delighted. The latest job was a really big one. They came to see us and priced it quickly, kept in regular contact, turned up when they said they would and have done a fantastic job, despite Storm Barra! They were quick to suggest the best approach to the work we needed doing which saved us all time and money. Their extra helpers, son and father team Ben and Jerry, were also excellent. Highly recommend.

Excellent experience working with the guys from Highclere Tree Works. So often, when work is carried out, expectations are unclear. Dan & Nigel take the time to understand the work you would like to undertake and then explain exactly what they will do. What is great, that the explanation exactly matches their work. Also impressive attention to detail in clearing the area and leaving everything neat & tidy, which is a breath of fresh air. All of this & price competitive.The best recommendation I can give is that I would use them again without hesitation and they would be my first call.

Nigel and Dan have done a fantastic job for us trimming and topping a huge bank of trees on both sides of the garden as well as cutting and shaping another large tree and lots of other work. They worked non stop through awful weather and left everything tidy which was amazing considering there were tonnes of offcuts. Such lovely and professional people, I cannot recommend them more highly. Thank you guys for an amazing job!

Dan & Nigel provided an excellent value quote for our tricky tree surgery job. They are a very personable team and the work was carried out to a very high standard, in good time. All tidied up when job finished. I would highly recommend and will use again.

Excellent tree works undertaken today by the Highclere Tree Works team. Three trees removed in good time and completely cleared up afterwards. Very nice people and no complaints about the tea. Highly recommend.

Nigel, Dan, Joey & Ben were a great team. Not forgetting Brian on the 60 tonne crane! We had a big Lime tree (40mtrs) that needed a serious trim & Nigel & Dan co-ordinated a full day’s work cutting, sawing & chipping a huge load of wood. They were utterly charming & a delight to have. After dealing with 6 extremely large trees located close to our garage block (which houses accommodation) for many years, I decided they needed to be removed.I had the good fortune of contacting Highclere Tree Works, the trees were removed with what I can only describe as military precision, in a highly precarious setup.I would like to take this time to thank both Nigel and Dan for their hard work, I would not hesitate in highly recommending them.

Very reliable and friendly tree surgeons. We hired them for two different tree jobs where they had to take down the whole tree in a overgrown forest. They came to view the trees and immediately I felt they knew what they were doing as they guided me through HOW the tree was going to come down, what was the safest way to get it down and what it might hit on the way. They did a great job at keeping any damage minimal. They were tidy workers and after the first job I was happy to hire them again for the second. They always were clear and responsive about dates and times for work and if anything had to change. Very happy with the work they have done for us.
