What a lovely pub just of the seafront at Penzance. Would advice to book as the food is absolutely fantastic. The staff on the day were fantastic 2 lovely ladies behind the bar who went out of the way to help. Will definitely be going back.

I would say this is the best food I've had in a pub! The mussels are fresh, and the seafood linguine (today's special) are fresh and tasty. We really enjoyed our time here. Highly recommended.

We went for dinner on Saturday the 8th of July and had a wonderful time! The staff were incredibly friendly to us and our dog, and they went above and beyond to cater for our food allergies. The fish of the day was we’ve ever had, and we received the largest amount of mussels I’ve ever seen! My only note would be that I wish I could of finished this generous portion. If you’re ever in Penzance please consider paying this venue a visit

Usually I don't post too many reviews however I felt I absolutely had to for this Little Gem of a place due to the great experience I had!I had already been past on a few occasions during my stay at Penzance, it was definitely a popular venue without a doubt, busy every night I went past on the way back to my hotel on the Promenade and during my visit tonight I could see why.The Navy Inn situated right near the Promenade was very inviting and had a lovely homely feel to it, felt very welcomed by the staff, I decided to have the Fish & Chips, this came in great time and I personally felt the price was reasonable, the Fish was definitely Fresh and it tasted lovely, the size was slightly small however this I felt was reflected in the price and I honestly did not mind that as it is definitely about Quality more than Quantity especially if you're eating out! The Chips were also fresh, they had some Skin left on them, however I did not mind this at all as I felt it made the Chips better and they too tasted lovely! They had a really nice selection of drinks on the bar such as Korev Cornish Lager, Rattlers Cornish Cloudy Cider amongst others such as Carlsberg, Thatchers, San Miguel etc.. There was definitely a nice variety. I went for the Korev and Rattlers, I would definitely have them again! This place is definitely inviting for all members of the Public, I saw a couple with a lovely dog, also saw a family that had reserved a table next to me and they too all seemed to really enjoy themselves! The Bar Staff Abbie & Stuart were absolutely lovely and had a great sense of humour, I really appreciated your hospitality! I had not felt this relaxed in a Warm and Lovely Independent Pub in a very long time and would absolutely recommend it to everyone I know should they stay at Penzance/Cornwall at anytime!Overall if you're looking for somewhere in Penzance for something to eat during your stay whether you are a Tourist or if you are a Local, Please visit The Navy Inn! Absolutely enjoyed my time here and would definitely visit here again should I return to Cornwall! Support Local & Independent Businesses! We all need each other during this day and age!

What a find. Stopped by for drinks one night. And had a bit of food. Wow, it was fantastic. We came back the next day again. Lovely, old place. Staff are friendly which made up for missing a few things. But we didn't mind at all and enjoyed both of our stays. Honestly, great food. Can highly recommend! A hidden gem.

We went for lunch with two small children. The staff were very attentive. They had a good selection of beers, I enjoyed the Cornish IPA 'Proper Job'. Food was excellent, delicious homemade pie. Good kids menu. Child-friendly pub. Would go again!

Small but perfectly formed, a lovely pub to have food and a couple of drinks.Small menu and specials board but all food cooked fresh.Really recommend a vist and book a table if you would like to eat, as it gets booked up very quickly. Staff are very friendly and nothing is to much trouble.
