This place is out of this world I have never seen such a collection of things from my childhood, there are thousands and thousands of things to look at and it's the only hands on museum I have ever been to. It's a gem of a place only small (two floors) but you need at least 3 or 4 hours to get round. Not to sure how much longer it's going to be open as the owner is getting old and there is nobody brave enough to take it over. It's wonderful we are mid 60s so it takes us back to childhood days a real trip down memory lane, £7:50 each to get in and worth every penny trust me!!

I have been to Wales a lot of times and haven't heard about this place until this time as I came across a leaflet for it. We visited the week day, only a few others there. Outside when approaching the building, it needs a bit of work done to tidy it up as this may put people off. We entered the building, and it was massive. Lots to see , I spent over 2 hours and feel like I could go again and see other stuff. It's a shame to hear about their past fire they had, so its a true credit to how much stuff they have now. The place is full of stuff to see. The only thing to improve is the approach at the bottom of the hill as you're driving into the car park outside, but I would definitely recommend a visit.

Great place. Need at least a couple of hours there. Great if you were born early 50s.

Absolutely brilliant museum. One of the best I've ever seen. Touching everything is allowed ,which makes a better experience and areas are themed as in living room, bedroom, toys, music etc.

Been meaning to visit this place since moving to Denbigh 2yrs ago. Wow, it didn't disappoint. Stuffed to the rafters with fascinating exhibits, posters, memorabilia, few cars ,full room displays, just so much to see. Yes it's a bit on the rustic side but everything in the museum is 70+ yrs old. So what dyou expect. Sparrow the owner is a mine of information so do insure you hear some of his tales. It really added to the experience. I shall definitely be going back.

We went to two museums today one was ok the other was fantastic, (Cae Dai 1950s museum, Denbigh. North Wales) not just for the cars so much as the trip down memory lane.Run by an old rock and roller called Sparrow Harrison MBE and his partner.Sparrow has worked for the kray twins in the past in their club, Esmeralda’s Barn, as front man to his band the gossamers. What a character, if you're ever passing anywhere near there it is an absolute must to go visit. The place is like a junkyard but there are thousands of exhibits, and you can get a big mug of tea for a quid and a bun for 70p then have them sat in genuine 1960s furniture, and the other thing I liked is they have a pick it up and have a look at it policy as opposed to do not touch.

Great little find this place, we were camping at Cai Dai next door and popped in on our way out. Some great collectables and views into our recent past here. The owner, sparrow is very knowledgeable and a very interesting character.

Fascinating museum and somewhat of a hidden gem with a massive collection of various items from the 50s ranging from vehicles, clothes, magazines, toys, music, paraphernalia, kitchen appliances, radios, basically pretty much most of the things you'd expect to see. Highly recommended, especially for anyone who grew up near that era or likes history in general. This has been my 2nd visit.
