Skirma is a wonderful, friendly, and knowledgeable hairdresser & barber. I have been going to the LSBS for three years and only recently increased the frequency of my visits because my hair grows stronger when regularly trimmed. She knows what to do; all I do is sit back and relax! Highly recommended, walk-ins are possible, appointments too. You may wait a little even if you booked an appointment, but it's no big deal. Staff will look after you asap with tlc. Hair cuts for ladies are affordable. It's probably best to avoid evenings on weekdays & Saturdays because these are obviously busier.

Went in for a simple shave and haircut, and was pleasantly surprised with finding a quiet place where the gentleman who served me put in quite a lot more effort into doing my normal than I've had in more costly places.Definitely a place to look at returning.

worst barber shop ever hygiene is appalling to say the least, all the barbers in the shop looked unprofessional. Bad haircuts, hygiene. Awful presentation of what a good barber shop to be definitely one of most trashiest barbers in reading. DO NOT GO IF YOU WANT A DECENT HAIRCUT

Been going to this Barbers for about 2 years. Pretty much every time I go, I get something different. I’m always really pleased with how my hair turns out, and its really good value for money. I’ve never paid more than £25, and that was when I had a lot of length cut off and a restyle.Sam is chatty and there’s always a few people waiting or being seen to when i’m there. So clearly its still so popular amongst others.I recommend it to anyone with any length of hair! As I started with long hair and have a sort of buzz cut now.

I'm not very trusting with hairdressers, especially after a bad experienced in a shop down the road from this one.I've learned to trust Skirma and have done for a couple of years now. Not a lot of fuss; just a pleasing haircut every time.

It was my first time here and I didn't know what to expect but I was appalled at the technique used and lack of care for my hair and the finished style was all wrong with what I asked for. The whole process seemed like the barber didn't know how to handle the length of my hair which was only medium length. The barber didn't comb nor move the hair on the sides before shaving and got my hair stuck in the machine and for the first time ever the barber started the haircut by using scissors on the top of the head??. It felt like my hair was getting butchered. The barber changed from machine to scissors frequently and had no plan" when cutting my hair

I like being able to pre-book an appointment which saves time waiting for a haircut. Both my wife and I are regular customers and are very happy with the quality and final result which justify paying a tip.
