Always a welcome treat when I can stop by. The people working there are always friendly and chatty, and the food great. The hole in the wall is handy for a takeaway lunch, and it's a great spot for a sit down breakfast too.

I loved the place! It felt cosy and almost like visiting some family friends. Very nice atmosphere, amazing, fresh food, amazing value and very very generous portions. Staff is super kind and friendly. Thank you so much for such a wholesome experience ❤️

This is a really nice little café, with a superb take out service. The hot chocolate is piping hot, and tasty. Reasonable menu with really nice chips. Good sized portions and friendly staff. It can be busy so be prepared to wait, but it's always worth it. Sit on the benches around Captain Cat" or stroll around the marina. Public convenience nearby. Short walk through to the sea front

Ordered two bacon rolls and a soda. Was overcharged and when we enquired about the extra charges was told it's 45p charge per person to sit at the outside table. This is not advertised and was then charged £1.20 extra. Waited 20 minutes and went to enquired when it will be ready was snapped at told it takes time to make. When it arrived was just slammed on the table. No apology. Just slammed down and walked off. Tomato sauce was a blob the size of a finger nail. Appalling service. However the bun was fresh. Only positive thing!

Glen and Ally are really lovely people. The Sunday dinner is to die for. The freshly made Welsh cakes are the best ever. Well worth a visit even for a coffee or a snack. Deffo 5 stars from us.

Great wee local cafe with an extensive menu. Went for breakfast and had full breakfast (small) which was more than enough. If really hungry go for the large version. All food cooked to order and really would have liked to come back for lunch as pies looked delicious. Next time will be back for lunch.

WE HAVE BEEN HAVING OUR BREAKFAST AND TAKE AWAY SUNDAY DINNER AND PIES FOR OVER 3 YEARS NOW AND HAVE ALWAYS HAD PERFECTLY COOKED FOOD SO WE ALWAYS ENJOY OUR WEEKEND TREAT ! SUPER NICE OWNERS ASWELL(FROM TOM -TOM`s MUM+DAD)

Visited this afternoon, and what can I say? An incredibly welcoming place, with good honest homestyle food. I had a homemade chilli with rice and chips, and was given a very generous bowl full.My friends also had some of the homemade treats, a Turkish delight donut and a lemon custard slice - both looked amazing.Not only was the food great, but the cafe is wheelchair friendly too.Thank you to Glen and Alison for the superb hospitality, and see you again next time in in Swansea.
