Just had a motor replaced by Ryan of The Garage Door Company for my up-and-over garage door after 23 years of use. I cannot praise highly enough the professional and helpful service I have received. I will return if and when the other door needs a motor and I would not even consider looking elsewhere.

Very pleased to recommend this family run company.Requiring only a motor on my existing garage door, I was not pressured to replace the door and the complete process was faultless from start to finish.Adam completed a thorough and efficient survey, making an appointment for the installation only two days later. Your Driver of vehicle YD19 FCN Isuzu DMAX pickup driving recklessly at high speed through Waverly estate in Rotherham this afternoon fully loaded with a garage door which almost came off the roof because the gentleman was driving dangerously.Reported to South Yorkshire police along with video footage.Disgusting.

2 garage doors fitted in May, extra trim required so this was ordered, trim took weeks to arrive and when it did they had only ordered 1 set, still waiting for the other set of trim to arrive 5 months later. Also one door was damaged on install, only noticed when all protective packaging was removed and 13 weeks after i notified this company they ring me today to ask what panel it was so they can see if it can be claimed on warranty. I have rang and rang asking for a solution but nothing ever gets sorted. Very quick to chase for you to pay money before they install but not quick to rectify problems.

A young arrogant kid came to quote. Thought he was the great sales man when he told me it was only a couple of pounds more to have a coloured door, only to find out its a couple of hundred. If you can't be honest from the start then this is a good indication you won't be honest in the future so not interested

If you want a garage door that comes scratched and with a gap then this is the company for you. They came out 5 times and each time did not have the part. I had to contact CitizensAdvice and only when we were near court action did they come and replace. I was given no compensation for the lost of time as I had to have time off. It took 6mths. Please avoid this company

The only way you ever find out how good a company are, is when things don't go 100% smoothly! This company fails miserably, right from the survey to the now needed remedial work!After my door had been fitted I was told certain items were missing, they still are nearly a month later. If I'd been told before I wouldn't have let them install the door.The office must hold the phone away from their ears when you call because they NEVER get back to you when promised or have any ability in appeasing customers. The weeks go by and the phone calls are adding up from myself, no end in sight!I've been chasing the unfinished job up longer than it took to install the garage door.I'd go elsewhere if you want any form of after service! The office staff are a joke.

I am very disappointed with the service provided by The Garage Door Company. Clearly once they have your money - required in advance - they do not care.Paid for an old 1980's garage door to be removed and replaced with a new sectional door.The pre-sales experience was all positive; a surveyor came around to provide examples, a price and take measurements. However installation was a different matter.Installation day came and went, no-one turned up! I later called the following day and they confirmed from the call recording I had been given the date, but it hadn't actually been entered into their booking system.On the second attempt an installation team turned up without sufficient materials to complete the job!FIVE missed follow-up appointments later, someone finally showed up to glue some UPVC to cover the gaps. The weather seal at the bottom does not fully reach the floor in one corner, nothing can be done about that I'm told, despite no such gap on the old door.No responses to my emails or letter of complaint.AVOID!UPDATE: After posting this 2* review I received a phone call from an apologetic manager who promptly sent someone round who was able to correctly adjust the door seal at the bottom in about 10 minutes. So now all is well with the garage door.

Paul & Ben called to diagnose and repair one of our garage doors. Very professional, polite and honest. Will definitely use the company again and recommend to others. A pleasure to deal with and excellent service.
