I needed a copy of my passport legalised. The first time we were told we could bob in anytime which worked really well and they were very friendly. I called to use this service again and was told someone would get back to me soon which took more than 24hrs. I assume they were just very busy that day.

We have just completed on a house sale through GLP. Ruth Shaw and the team at Prestwich were impeccable in all the dealings we had with them.I can highly recommend GLP for a professional service for any legal requirements you may have.

Our experience caused us nothing but stress and frustration.Dealing with a solicitor called Paul Baynes was an absolute nightmare, not very responsive, when he did respond it was very short and abrupt and there's just no sense of urgency whatsoever.No communication whatsoever, it was always up to us to constantly chase.About as useful as an ash tray on a motorbike.Do yourself a favour and go elsewhere.

Could give them a zero if it was an option.Poor communication between them and their customers, the team decided not to represent my son in a sale transaction because I had an intense conversation with the admin and she told me to stop sighing on the phone…They also said the sale will take 12 weeks although we are cash buyers and keen to get the deal done as quickly as possible.They do not follow up on any emails, do not answer phone calls and do not keep the process open and transparent.They refuse full blank to keep us updated with the progress.I realise that I have a speech impediment and people get frustrated when they talk to me but where I come from the client is more important than how they made me feel.My only regret is that they refused to work with my son who has not been a part of the conversation between myself and the admin lady.

DO NOT USEUnprofessional....unresponsive....rude and money grabbingI have never dealt with such an unprofessional company. 24 hours before moving into my first home I was told they had miscalculated my financial statement and if I didn't pay my property would fall through. My bill was over £1000 the original quote and I feel robbed. Please look elsewhere! Do not let them ruin your first moving experience like they ruined mine.

Absolutely first class service from GLP. I recently bought a new home and GLP had been recommended to me previously.On my initial visit, I was greeted by Liz on reception who couldn't had been more friendly and welcoming. I was lucky enough to had my conveyancing handled by Suman Ali. I really don't know where to start in saying how good Suman is. From the first day, she always responded quickly to my emails and was always available for telephone calls. Suman worked incredibly hard to get the process completed as quickly as possible. Any paperwork was forwarded to me at the earliest opportunity for completion, and Suman worked tirelessly to meet deadlines and make the process as stress-free as possible and always provided me with updates.I would have no doubts in recommending GLP and especially Suman to anybody who's about to buy or sell a property.

Avoid. I phoned to ask about a service and the cost, they told me they'd call me back and couldn't say when they'd be able to call me in the next few days.The owner responded to my earlier google review saying they pride themselves on customer service (!!) and leaving an email address.I emailed them and the person called Anthony was unable to respond in an intelligibile manner after a few replies.After several emails spelling out what was needed he said he'd send my email to Prestwich.Ruth from the Prestwich branch emailed me to say they don't provide the service requested despite the receptionist checking and confirming they did.A complete waste of time, and the reviews seem to show the truth about their customer service reputation with a total tally of 3.5 stars out of 5.

Amazing service from the conveyancing staff at GLP solicitors. Always go above and beyond to help and make the process feel like a breeze. Massive thank you to Ruth and her support staff.Also, thank you to Carol-Ann for her help with writing our wills to include our new property. Very easy process.Couldn't recommend enough! Brilliant service.

I visited this solicitors office with a simple statutory statement to be signed. This was done fine but it wasn’t a particularly pleasant experience. The solicitor that was dealing with me was simply rude and behaved entitled. Not sure why he had to act as I was an inconvenience to him.
