5 star +,phoned on Thursday and they came on Friday and fixed our Heat pump, thanks. I was expecting a 300 pound bill as they took 2 hours but no a 144 pound bill, thanks again.

I made the mistake of not asking the hourly rate. I was shocked when the invoice arrived promptly for £114 for no more than one hour's work. The job was fault finding and to provide a quote; with a minor light switch repair. No parts were required.I've no issue with the standard of work. The electrician arrived promptly and was efficient in testing and diagnosing the faults; but £95 an hour plus VAT is a lot. If costs such as travelling time are going to be factored into the invoice, as seems to be the case here(having spoken to the owner of the business)then I think this should be made clear to customers beforehand.
