I did a couple of Roberto’s Platinum Printing workshops a few years ago. He is a master printer, with many years of darkroom experience.I would certainly recommend his workshops and his printing services to anyone. If you are interested in the alternative printing processes this is the lab to go to.

I’ve known Roberto for many years. I had the chance to experience seeing my Iris Apfel platinum prints being made at his lab.I was lucky to witness Roberto’s expertise in action and see the quality of his prints first-hand.

I had a private cyanotype workshop with Roberto last year. Although I come from a photography background I had never printed my own work before. I must say that Roberto is very knowledgeable about historical processes and his passion about the subject really comes across. On the day, he was very patient and thorough. I am very happy with the prints we made on the day and I’m getting ready to book another workshop as soon as I can. I’m thinking maybe platinum palladium.

I commissioned RJ Print Lab to produce 2 large Cyanotape photos I had taken of my children. I can not express how happy I was with the outcome. They not only look truly unique, but the quality of paper and finish was beautiful. People can not walk past the photos without commenting. What I love about Roberto is that there is no daft question and he is always happy to help you to bring your ideas to life!

I had a platinum palladium printing workshop and it was amazing how much i could achieve and his knowledge and understanding of the different techniques.RJ is a true master printer and artist.

Roberto and myself go back a long time, i assisted him for almost ten years and he still remains a mentor and a great friend. He is fascinated by texture and grade, highly skilled in the full spectrum of photography, post production and its technical nuances. He has always been in love with all kinds of print making. It's been a passion of his since I've known him. I don't know anyone as as knowledgeable in the theory & practice of printing and the technicality of photography. He made me a print for an exhibition made from Platinum Palladium, he used a 16bit tif and the process took several days. The print was a museum quality, the emulsion is brushed and absorbed by the handmade paper. It looked stunning. I highly recommend Roberto to print for anyone. You are in great hands.
