Absolutely beautiful place! The hosts were amazing, very quick response and incredibly helpful. The lodge was gorgeous, absolutely spotless and even came with a welcome pack. Would honestly come back here again and again and really recommend it. The view from the hot tub was beautiful and the scenery in general is incredible, definitely worth the trip!

Absolutely wonderful! Stayed with my husband and 2 boys (age 7 and 3). Had a very relaxing, quiet weekend away. The views are breathtaking and my boys spent every minuite they could on the shared playground area. We stayed in the Willoughby lodge and the hot tub is huge! Everything you need is taken care of, even had a nice welcome package upon arrival :)

We had a long week-end stay in one of the lodges, the facilities are excellent and the way the lodge was designed, built and finished is exceptional. Despite feeling you are in the middle of nowhere there are dozens of attractions within easy driving range including Beamish Museum and Durham City.Another plus is the fact that takeaways nearby will deliver. Altogether a lovely place to stay.

On our way for a second stay at these delightful lodges. Beatifully appointed and in such a peaceful location. Owners are helpful with local knowledge. Wonderful ,large hot tub overlooking fields towards coast.

Gorgeous location.We're staying at Little Owl Lodge and its like being at home away from home.All moderm amenities and even a hot tub!The veiws are stunning and the owner is super lovely.We will deffinately be booking to come back!

We have just spent a midweek break at Penny Lodge. Last year we spent February half term in Little Owl Lodge. We would recommend them to any one. It's an ideal location for us with family near by. I would imagine we'll be back next year
