MD Martial Arts Academy

Sifu Marc Davis is easily the best teacher I've ever had. He's a highly skilled martial artist but also really good at ensuring classes are dynamic and everyone is being challenged correctly for their own individual level. I've trained at MD Martial Arts for approx 7 years and have been through quite a journey where MD has always helped me on a bespoke level - whether that is as a complete beginner, or when I've had health/injury issues to work around, or training for specific fitness goals and even getting back into training after having a baby. The classes suit everyone and do wonders for both mind and body. Could not recommend it more

I would unquestionably recommend the MD system taught by Sifu Marc Davis to anyone who is looking to learn and develop a invaluable life skill.All aspects of martial arts are covered from the combat side, fitness, discipline, self control and many more.My son has been attending classes for 7 years. He was 9 when he started and is now 16. And as a parent you want to know your children are as safe as can be and for me this was a perfect way to build his confidence and prepare his transition to secondary school where he would be traveling on his own.I've been most impressed by Sifu's ability to teach skills that you probably thought were impossible with great knowledge and with a direct and scientific approach.Sifu is an amazing teacher who has made MD system unique and second to none. If you want to be the best you must learn from the best and this is the place to come.

I have developed massively in the 8 months I’ve been training at the MD Academy, both in my skills and knowledge of Martial Arts philosophy. The lessons are quality and often tailored to ‘real life’ scenarios that you can apply in self-defence.There is a focus on the individuality of the student to ensure they can progress successfully based on their attributes and skill set. The Dojo is centred around respect for all, regardless of age, gender or ability with a desire among students to see each other improve and progress in their Martial Arts.Sifu Marc Davis is a great trainer, a Martial Arts expert with years of experience, a keen eye for detail and patience; which for a beginner like myself has helped me improve beyond my expectation. His experience allows him to spot student’s strengths and hone them as well as their weaknesses and improve them.There’s a scientific approach to Martial Arts at the MD Academy with a rationale behind each movement, strike, lock, grapple kick, block etc. that is the MD Way.Absolutely recommend the MD Academy to all!!!!

I have trained with so many different teachers and martial artists but no one & no system comes close to Sifu Marc Davis & his own MD brand of martial arts.I have learnt so much from his teachings. Not only is he brilliant as an artist he is good as a teacher. He explains things very well and concise for beginners to the advance, without making you feel small, inadequate or useless.His style is a one stop shop. There is no need to go anywhere else as it is a complete method of fighting on the street against skilled & non skilled alike.I would highly recommend it if you are serious about martial arts.Bryan.

I have been doing some form of martial arts my whole life and seen many teachers all across the world but I have never seen or heard of a more complete system than MD Martial Arts. Sifu Marc Davis is an expert in his field and has a scientific approach to everything he is doing. I have been a student with him since the early 2000's and not once has he not given me an answer to a question that doesn't just make sense in theory but actually works in practice. I could go on and on about how good the system is but words cannot do it justice...you have to come along and try for yourself regardless of you skill level. 110% recommend!!!

Over one year of weekly training at MD Martial Arts Academy and it's still a very enjoyable experience.Great quality teaching, versatile technics for all. Good vibes all round, thanks to Kaz teaching on Tuesdays evenings and nice crowd regularly attending.I felt welcome from day 1.Highly recommended for beginners and experienced martial artists.

I started martial arts classes at this dojo a few years ago and it has been an incredible experience. I hand noticed improvements in my balance and overall physical and mental health. The instructors are knowledgeable and very patient and the community welcoming and supportive. I highly recommend this dojo to anyone.

5/6 years with Sifu Marc Davis and I can’t imagine training anywhere else. His knowledge and skills are superior to anywhere else I’ve trained or anyone I’ve seen. But beyond his expertise, whether it’s the adult or kids classes, he’s a great teacher and has built an amazing school that is friendly yet focused, welcoming and talented. I’ve introduce my sister 38, niece 5, cousin 21 and friends of all ages. I recommend you visit and find out for yourself!

I can not recommend the MD martial arts Academy highly enough. Im so grateful to have been recommended this school and this Teacher for my son initially. What I was seeing was so good I had to join myself.Martial Artist Sifu Marc Davis is like no other.
