I have studied Level 3 and I am now studying Level 4 with the Academy. The professionalism , encouragement and inspiration the tutors impart is second to none. I highly recommend each area of floral education the Academy offers. Which is why I make a 14 hour round trip each month to be taught by them

I joined the fast track course in May 2022. This is a very professional, skillful flower course. All of the techniques that taught by the floral academy are very useful for me. I’m highly recommend British Academy of Floral Art for you.

My wife has been studying here and has learnt so much. It is amazing, especially since moving to new classrooms at the site and the garden is in a beautiful location. Highly recommended!

My journey from knowing nothing about flowers (other than they were beautiful) to being a qualified Level 3 florist, took place at BAFA. I was supported, encouraged, and challenged by a team of dedicated and knowledgeable teachers who helped me at every step. BAFA offers lots of opportunities to develop your skills and knowledge, through classes and through volunteering. I met wonderful fellow students who were a joy to learn with and I now have a network of hugely talented creatives whom I can call on for help, inspiration, problem-solving, or simply a chat and a laugh!

I've done a few modules at both bristol and exeter and the teaching standard is incredible! I wouldn't advise anywhere else. Very flexible learning to work around life.

I can't recommend the Academy highly enough. The tutors are amazing, so enthusiastic and generous with their knowledge of the industry. The huge emphasis on practical sessions enables budding florists to gain experience whilst developing their own style. I have also learnt a huge amount about the commercial aspects of developing a successful business.There is also a lovely sense of community with ongoing support from both fellow students and tutors - even after completion.

I absolutely loved learning at The British Academy of Floral Art. All of the tutors were fantastic. The location itself is beautiful and on top of that the atmosphere created by the tutors was so genuinely nurturing and inspiring! I started my level 2 floristry course earlier this year with the Academy of Floral Art and I can honestly say I can't imagine my life without them in it! .From small class sizes to supportive,attentive and knowledgeable tutors who have opened up a world of possibilities. I couldn't of been happier with my choice to study with them and really can't recommend the academy highly enough.

I have just completed the Level 2 online course. I did one of the modules in class so had experience of both ways of learning. The course was brilliant. I started as a complete novice and have learnt so much. I now feel ready to start my new career in floristry. The videos are really thorough, not only showing the techniques but Julie and Tina explain the processes so well and show you their own tried and tested methods. The team were always on hand to answer questions and happy to do so. They have such a wealth of knowledge between them, I can't imagine a more experienced team. They also attend lots of events for learners to join in so I feel I will be able to keep in touch and stay connected with the Academy. I was awarded a UK government grant through YTKO to train with the Academy. Julie and Tina were so helpful in supporting me through this process which definitely created more work for them. So for that I am also really grateful. I am now embarking on a new career and am so excited. Thank you, all of you. It was wonderful training with you! Sarah xx

Before the Academy I was in my own floristry bubble. Since joining the Academy they have opened my eyes to so much more, I love every minute of it, I have met wonderful people and my floristry horizons has gone global, literally. The teachers (Tina Parkes and Julie Collins), are generous, inspirational and talented, with their encouragement I have achieved a British Masters qualification and a Gold Medal at RHS Chelsea Flower Show, things I only dreamed of before signing up. If you love flowers and want a career in floristry, I cannot recommend this school enough.
