The Bull Terrier Cafe
We visited the cafe for breakfast and it was a great way to start the day! There is a good range of breakfast options at good prices - you get free tea or coffee before 11am. The staff were friendly and efficient. There's the option to eat inside the cafe or 'outside' it in the market hall. We choose outside and enjoyed looking out across the market. We were thinking of going back for meal later in the day as there were other things on the menu that sounded really good - unfortunately we ran out of time. Highly recommend a visit.

The Bull Terrier Cafe
I've stayed in luxury hotels where the Welsh breakfast is not a patch on what these people do. Consistently good and friendly service (I've been coming on and off for over 14 years) and it's fun to eat looking over the market stalls and hearing the rain on the roof. I don't know what the other items on the menu are like; I always have the Welsh breakfast. I love it.

Food was satisfactory at its best, it is what it is a market greasy spoon, but prices are sky high I had a breakfast and my daughter had a ham/cheese toastie with a yahoo milkshake came to £19.00. Fair to say I won't be returning.

Been going here for years. Bit no more. Nice staff etc..just prices getting silly now. While I get things have gone up. The price increase increments have got a bit much . From £3.40 to £5.50 for the same meal . Budget food quality . I now do my own food or pop to pillars . Real shame . Just pushing customers away . Was good while it lasted .Even the best sausages don't cost much.

Cheap and cheerful cafe with lovely atmosphere overlooking the market. Staff were friendly and helpful and food was served promptly. We had the full breakfasts which fuelled us up for the day of shopping ahead.Will definitely go back next time we're in Cardiff.
