Our old website was looking a bit tired, but in searching options to update it we became wary of being confused with too much tech-speak and being offered lots of suggestions of ‘What you need to do is…..’ and how much we should look to spend before any real advice was given. So the project was put back several times for another day.We found Dzines website designers locally and they were happy to visit and give some advice in plain language, showing some examples of what other businesses have got right. They also advised the platform to create the old website could be updated, which automatically would patch up some security issues – and that various tool options are constantly developed. The suggestions from Dzines were obviously from experience, given with quick reference to other websites to see for ourselves, and seemed to be offered genuinely for our benefit rather than any pressure to take on more than we needed or wanted to pay for – they just left us with the information and waited until we contacted them again, to ask them to take the job on.Our business isn’t particularly exciting, so we were looking for a website which can give a lot of information without being overwhelming. Dzines came up with a very clean and sharp look which they demonstrated we could tweak ourselves to revise information as necessary. The project was completed and uploaded very quickly, with their immediate attention given to any changes we asked for.
