Richard catered for our wedding at Polhawn Fort for 100 people - no mean feat given the kitchen size. The food was absolutely out of this world - everyone commented on high quality and good quantity, from canapes to steak to stunning vegetables, delivered seamlessly and stress free. The whole team on the day including bar staff were brilliant, professional and friendly. We met Richard a couple of times before the day and he was open to our menu suggestions and ideas, had an incredible tasting session, and got to know him a little too which was great. I never really imagined that we could have found a caterer so open and willing to try different things, it made the experience so interesting and a real highlight. We cannot wait to come back and visit Couch's in Polperro, and quite a few of our friends can't either!

Fine dining, restaurant quality food, en masse! We feel incredibly lucky to have Richard cater for our wedding at Polhawn Fort. The food was the best wedding food we have ever been served, and I know we may be biased, but other guests also remarked the same (some of whom have been to many, many weddings…). Richard was collaborative in the menu development process, and the food served on the day for 80 guests lived up to the trial food made for 2. All of the food was hot, for every table, and the wedding breakfast ran seamlessly. A big thank you must go to Richard’s team too - from the chefs to front of house, everyone was the perfect mix of polite, professional and fun, and went out of their way to ensure we felt looked after. I would wholeheartedly recommend Richard for any wedding or event, but particularly those at Polhawn Fort. Having cooked pizzas for 20 the night before, it isn’t the easiest kitchen, which makes the food served by Apt all the more miraculous. Thank you so much, and we can’t wait to come and eat at Couch’s Great House again!

Richard & his team catered for our wedding at Polhawn Fort and provided just the most amazing food and service we could have hoped for. We always wanted to make sure we gave our guests some good food as that is what people often most remember - we were certainly not let down! The dishes were hot, fresh, perfectly cooked and the service was ever so slick, professional and friendly! Nothing was too much trouble for our fussy eater and those with intolerances, with one saying they had never been so well looked after given they are coeliac and lactose intolerant. Thank you ever so much Richard & the team for making our day absolutely fabulous!!!

Richard and his team catered for our wedding at Polhawn Fort and we are so pleased. The food was absolutely delicious and many people commented that it was the best wedding meal ever. It was all hot, perfectly seasoned, and quick. Richard’s team also provided a fantastic service throughout the day and they were friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Absolutely no words to describe the professionalism and ease Richard and his team showed during my wedding at Polhawn.Even in Gail force winds, his team were incredible. Nothing was too much.The food was absolutely incredible; quality and quantity were perfect- similar to other posts; guests commented that it was the best wedding meal they’ve had.Richard himself was fantastic, he calmed a nervous bride! Absolutely nothing was too much, he was so easygoing and personable- I cannot recommend them enough!!
