I live in a house backing onto the amazing community green which has been looked after and maintained by the residents, including Roger mowing the grass every few weeks. There is free and open access to everyone, not just those surrounding. Many people from all around Windsor use this community open space, it’s been that way since the cottages were built around the green in the 1870’s.

A community green and a central feature of the surrounding historic Gardner Cottages since the 1870s. A lovely outdoor space used and maintained by the residents for everyone to enjoy. Here's a photo which shows a celebration on the green, believed to be for the coronation of King George VI in 1937.

Gardner Cottages Community Green
The green has been a great space for my kids to play for the last 10 years, so many memories of attending fun happy parties, bouncy castles & BBQs. Such a great community.
