Good place to go with the family. Lots for children to do, although some bits are payable. Greenhouse is very pleasant. The mini zoo is looking a little tired now but worth a visit. Courtyard Cafe was very efficient. The great thing about this place is it has no entry fee, only pay for parking.

This is a little gem of a place. The grounds are large and have some flower beds and some more open areas. There is a conservatory/glass house which is worth exploring. The pond is a tranquil area with fish, terrapin and ducks. The zoo is not just for children! Its a lovely area. Quite a lot of ducks, geese, peahens etc. Also 3 alpaca, a couple of pigs and donkeys. Information on all of them. There is a large children's play area with lots of equipment etc. Plenty of space for all age groups. It's free! You just pay for the parking. Definitely worth a visit.

Nice place to visit. Nice playground with swings etc and an ice cream van.Small zoo for the kids. The hall -last time we were there- had a cafe but this has been moved to a stable block which wasn't great.

So I visited here about a month ago, my boyfriend lives in Warrington so I regularly come to visit. This place is beautiful, the gardens are gorgeous, it's a lovely place to walk around, although we didn't it's a great spot for picnics as there's lots of grass to sit on. I loved the little farm, it's unbelievable that it's free, I was a little disappointed we didn't see any red squirrels like I'd have hoped to. The adventure golf was ok, I do think it desperately needs updating, apparently I was told it hasn't really changed since it was first made. There's a cafe which I do think needs updating, it's really dark and uninviting inside, the prices are ridiculous and there's not much choice of food, just a few sandwiches and cakes. There's a massive park which I have to admit I had a go on the swings, this is probably the biggest park I've actually seen. There are much more things I've not mentioned, I would definitely check out their website.I do think this place is a real credit to Warrington, it's great for families and it's great for a cheap day out too. We spent a good 4-5hrs here and I would love to come back.

I absolutely loved it. It was recommended by family, so I took my stepdaughter, and it's our new favourite spot and will definitely be going back

Really nice day out. Lots to do and room to find your own space. Cafe is great with food and drinks at a reasonable price. Lots of parking and toilets around the gardens.
