The Mill House
The location is good. The grounds are absolutely fantastic and the food was arguably one of the finest meals we have had in a long time - truly amazing chef.Could do with a few modernising features inside the rooms but given COVID I’m sure this will come in time. A fantastic stay was had!

We can thoroughly recommend The Mill House Swallowfield, as a fantastic marriage venue.The venue is full of character, with very well kept gardens, which provide lots of great photo opportunities.The marquee provides the perfect space for the wedding breakfast and evening disco.All the staff are so friendly and helpful, going above and beyond from planning every detail of the great day with you, and on the day they discretely lead you through each part, from the ceremony, the wedding breakfast to the cutting of the cake.We wish to thank the following members of The Mill House team for making our wedding a very special and memorable day.Mark, our master of ceremoniesKim, Kate, Emma and Chris, who helped plan, prepare and lead us through the day.Stewart our DJ for providing music for all the age groups who attended our wedding.

The Mill House
We got married at the Mill House on the 2nd Dec and it was the best day of our lives. Not only did the venue look like a winter wonderland, the staff m ensured the day ran smoothly and seamlessly.Thank you Mark for being so fantastic as our master of ceremony, Kim and Emma for working so hard to get everything right and all the fab bar and hospitality staff. If you book for your wedding you will not be sorry, cannot recommend them enough!

It was a very nice venue, had a lovely time. Nice sleep and comfortable bed. I found the breakfast a little lacking, nice but lacking. No fresh fruit for example. They also had a very lack luster beer selection

One of those little gems as a wedding venue. Filmed her for the first time this year and loved it. Beautiful outdoor spaces and a beautiful marquee. Big shout out to the staff too who looked after myself and the photographer really well all day. I would recommend this to a couple getting married without hesitation.

My daughter had her wedding reception here, and all the arrangements seemed to have been completed flawlessly. The staff were friendly, helpful, and attentive. The room was very large, but I could not get hot water from the sink tap. I was able to get hot water from the bath tap. The English breakfast was very good.

We recently got married at The Mill House and the whole experience was fantastic from start to finish!The team couldn’t be more helpful during the planning and on the day they got everything spot on! The food, service and staff were brilliant for the entire weekend and the whole experience was enjoyed fully by our guests, we all had a wonderful weekend! Highly recommend

We had our wedding at the Mill House Hotel at the end of AugustEveryone we had contact with at the Mill House was brilliant, it is clear that they love their jobs and do all they can to ensure you get the best day they can possibly give you. Every time I had any question or request I got a reply so quickly, even if the list of questions was long! We had several meetings to be sure we had everything covered and on the day everything ran smoothly and the guests had a brilliant time and the staff were friendly, approachable and all worked perfectly. The food was delicious. The gardens were beautiful and the made to order breakfast was an unexpected pleasure. Kim & Mark know what they are doing and they do it well.Thank you.
