Argos Kelso in Sainsbury's

Don't recommend, used to love Argos and spent thousands and thousands over the years but Kelso Manager has put me off ever buying anything from Argos again after him saying they don't take returns after 30 days for faulty goods, I told him consumer rights act says it's upto retailer if customer returns item to a store, he days I've read the Act wrong. But Ihav en't! To avoid the problem I will use different retailers in future. Avoid!!

Staff could do with going on a 'customer care' course as they don't have a clue how to treat their customers.

Kelso Sainsbury’s is just not ‘fit for purpose’..anymore! Long overdue that the space is given over to a better retailer like ALDI, Morrisons, TESCO,,,good god..choices in store are poor, stock abysmal, an Argos kiosk where I have NEVER seen anyone at!...aswell as being expensive.high time this space was given up to a supermarket that provides better choice and value. Its well discussed locally that Kelso is ‘forgotten about’ by the council regarding appropriate services, we have farcical sports and leisure facilities, not geared for fulltime workers! poor transport links and an appalling choice of restaurants....yes..restaurants..not take aways! We dont want more of them! I’m standing my ground! Time up! Sainsburys out! ALDI...IN!,,,,

Brings Argos to town without the addition of a store - sure the range they carry is limited but if you order or reserve in advance and it would be available in Berwick proper" Argos

Very poor customer service, they have a very smug we are correct attitude, better to avoid Argos or at least buy online with delivery as it gives you more options.

Bought a Google home mini for Xmas present! My partner didn't like it! So I took it back!! Thinking under the 30 day 'NO QUIBBLE RETURNS' I could exchange for something else or a refund!! They said 'SORRY BECAUSE YOU'VE OPENED IT, YOU WILL HAVE TO KEEP IT!!! So I rang Argos customer services and they said 'Because it has been opened we can't sell it on!! I pointed out that I had ordered it over the internet, so I was surely covered under the 30 day internet distant rules. They said no because I had picked the item up at the shop!! Had I'd paid £3.95 and had it delivered I would have been ''REFUNDED' SO DON'T BUY ON THE INTERNET AND PICK UP FROM ANY STORE!!! YOUR NOT COVERED!! Also instead of taking me to one side to explain this in store!! I had the indignity in the end,of the manager and under manager in front of other customers basically telling me to go away!!!

Reserved dumbbells which were in stock here. Received email and text confirming they were ready for me to collect and I was given a collection number. Drove here from Newcastle (134 mile round trip) to collect due to national stock shortage and medical need for them. Got here and they had gone". Nobody could explain why or how. Somebody looted my item. Totally pathetic service and an exploitation of me as a customer. Don't trust reservations at this store. Avoid at all costs."

My daughter, niamh, and i visited argos kelso today and would like to share our experience with you.Lewis, tha argos employee, not only dealt with our return very efficiently but he spoke to niamh as a person and with humour.I will be coming back to argos kelso again. Thank you!

Having walked up to pick up an item - as I was speaking to the female assistant to pick up my order. The male assistant screamed that I was over the 2 metre line. I have never experienced such rude, unprofessional and upsetiing customer service and when I complained the manager was so condescending. So I paid fifty pounds to be treated like dirt shows the level of poor customer service Argos in Kelso has it is small wonder that they have such a high turn over of staff.To date Argos and Sainsbury have never attempted to address the complaint.Though previously the customer service had actually been good and the staff used to be really chatty it is a shame that disgraceful behaviour by a member of their staff caused the problem.
