Stayed here last night…. Room was ok and the shower great but slippy… I am 70.No mattress protector and very noisy neighbours with doors banging.Ok for one night and cheap…… car park at rear is great. Would recommend new towels… I brought my own. If you want 4 star you pay 4 star.

Simple, no frills, cheap. Clean enough, free parking. Stayed for 2 nights, other guests were quite noisy late at night. All you need for a cheap night, 20 mins walk to the OVO Hydro, Chicken Cottage along the road does great takeaway food. The only real complaint I have is there was no window in room 5, felt like we were in a cell, also need more than 1 pillow each. Value for money, remember you get what you pay for.

Nice and clean and handy for the city centre. Plenty of parking. No television in room 3. If you like your TV check first. I personally have never come across a hotel or guest house room with no TV and I have stayed in hundreds of hotels and guest houses.

This was a very basic room and shower room with tea making facilities and wifi. It was clean and tidy and comfortable and was only £55 for the night. It is on a main road so there was traffic noise, but that was to be expected.Absolutely fine and convenient as it was about a mile walk to the Ovo Hydro for our concert and close to the Subway station.

Questionable location but nice easy walk into town.Door that has a code on barely closed or locks so kinda unsafe.Has a car park with security cameras.Bed is awful and pillows might as well not be there.Fine if you don’t mind an uncomfortable night sleep with a window onto the street. No help from host when we got there after two emails.Meh ~ not worth what we paid.

My husband and i stayed here in room 8 for 1 night on 11th august.Upon arrival the bed was being made up with brand new bedding. The room was tidy and clean. There was a kettle with tea and coffee..milk and sugar and 2 glasses along with a bottle of water. The shower/toilet was spotless. We even had towels provided which i didnt expect. There was also a hairdryer in the wardrobe so i was delighted as had forgotten mine. The bed was the very comfy and we both slept very well with no noise from within the building or outside. The only thing missing was a mirror in the room...there was 1 in the bathroom so had to stretch to see for drying hair...1 in the room above the table would have been ideal. No tv but that didnt bother us.Ideal location as there was plenty shops etc not far away so were able to walk rather than drive.Would definetly stay here again and request room 8 it was perfect.

The contact and booking was straightforward and easy, with good contact with the owner. The property is code entry and fairly straightforward to get in using the code that the landlord provides on day of arrival. The condition of the property from the outside is ok it could do with a lick of paint. On entry from the car park at the rear, you enter into an laundry area with 3/4 rooms downstairs and stairs leading to rooms in the upper floor. The room we had, had a double bed and single bed. On first inspection the room was fairly bare. But on closer inspection we found a large number of issues which resulted in us regretting our decision to stay here. The carpet was dirty and had holes. The window didn’t shut properlyLamp on desk was damagedNo TV in the roomBathroom smelled of mildew/urineExtractor fan didn’t workNo mirror in the bedroomWalls were thin and lots of noise/shouting from adjacent roomsBare lightbulb in ceilingKept up most of the night with noisy residentsTea making facility but no UHT milk sachetsToilet seat looseShower grout covered in mouldShower waste emptied too slowly/partially blockedI would NOT stay here again. Had a terrible nights stay.

WORST experience ever in a hotel. It was so bad we decided to look for a place elsewhere. First of all, the location is wrong and the building doesn’t say ‘Ibrox’ anywhere.Secondly, there were drunk people nearby asking to go inside the building before we even attempted to get in.When calling the owner of the property he said it wasn’t his problem; he asked me directly to liaise with a drunk guy who was twice as big as I was and who knows if he had any knives or something (obviously this homeless guy knew he could trick people and get inside the place; it was pretty obvious it was a regular thing for him). The only option offered by the owner was for us to walk into what looked a very unsafe place. How am I meant to self-check in if I am nearly threatened by a drunk guy? What is the safety expectation for the night ahead? Obviously a very poor one. No member of management showed up to check the situation they just suggested to call the police.A dreadful experience which I will report to the council.AVOID AVOID AVOID - DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE

2nd stay in this guesthouse at the end of our trip. Globally, it is clean and offers tea and coffee. But the 2 rooms we had were very bad !!!1st night : awful ! Very small room, with a big green emergency light in the middle of the room. Impossible to sleep at all through the night.2nd night : we have the room just at the entrance, we can hear everyone coming and going. It will be a long and sleepless night.I WOULD AVOID IF I WERE YOU !!
