The Crown Hotel
Solid traditional pub is part of a small hotel in Stamford, opposite of All Saints Church. The cask selection is solid if unspectacular, the inside seating comfy and spacious (all leather-padded sofas and chairs). On the side you'll find a small outside seating area. I found the service attentive and friendly. Good option on a pub crawl in Stamford.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Only slight niggles.Breakfast I felt a little restricted with no buffet style options. I like being able to control my toast,juice and cereal before requesting any cooked options.Also the Crown could ask their suppliers to be more sympathetic when delivering to a hotel. We were woken one morning at 7:30 by a barrel and bottle delivery.We recommend The Crown very much.

Had a lovely family meal here ages from about 7-70. Good variety of choices with slightly limited children's menu, but it's more an adults venue so I can understand that.Welcomed on arrival and had attentive staff all evening.Pricier than some Stamford eateries but not excessively so.I thought it was well priced for the choice, quality, and service received.

Lovely old coaching house in the middle of Stamford.Limited car park, accessible from the rear, a lovely beer garden, and nice restaurant.The staff at breakfast were particularly friendly and helpful.The room was nicely decorated, and the bathroom and shower were particularly good.

My husband and I stayed recently in the Crown Hotel, Stamford. It was a truly wonderful experience. The location of the hotel was superb for visiting this beautiful town on foot. The room was very well appointed and comfortable. However, the real stars of the show were the staff, who could not have been more helpful and kind and went way above and beyond what I would assume is their job spec. We truly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The food was delicious and staff had a can do" attitude for special requirements. We will definitely be back. Susie Hall"

Amazing place for staying . Old fashioned hotel but beautiful. The staff is very friendly. A bit of a posh place but anyway nice to stay there .Food nice .

Great hotel situated centrally with accessible parking. The rooms were spacious & decorated to a very high standard. All the staff were attentive & very friendly, making our stay a very pleasant one! The only thumbs down would be that it is a card only establishment. We should ALWAYS have a choice to pay cash!! That's why it only got a 4 star rating from me

Stayed here overnight in November, it's in a lovely spot in the centre of Stamford, just adjacent the old church. It's a beautiful old building with a great bar and food area.The room was nice and the breakfast was excellent, served at the table, cooked fresh and very nice.The only little issue was parking, the hotel car park is tiny and first come first served, it was full when we arrived in the early evening so we had to find somewhere on the road and move the car before 9am.

Top place to eat and drink in Stamford,We would say the best all round pub for food or popping in for a pint..Always very accommodating and a great selection on the menu.
