Shockingly bad experience!I downloaded the Gordy's app last night and placed an order for delivery totalling £30.00 at 6pm. By 6.30 the order still hadn't been acknowledged so I rang in to check and found the shop hadn't received it. These things happen sometimes, I accept that and was happy for the young girl to take my order over the phone. By 7.30pm there was still no sign of our order so I rang back to be told they hadn't had an order from us. This suddenly changed to ''Oh, it's out with the delivery driver.45 minutes later, Still. No. Food.......I rang back, no answer. We then discovered that they closed at 8pm.So either the world's most incompetent delivery driver is still touring Northern Ireland with some very cold chippie food or I was lied to. I'll let you draw your own conclusion.You only get the one chance to make a good impression, you well and truly blew that opportunity.

The service was good and friendly the fish and sausages where above average but the chips where a big let down some looked fresh and some looked and tasted like they had been cooked several times

I never had a bad fish and chips or anything else for that matter untill my last order it was in around 6.30/7 on a Friday, am not sure what time it closes but think staff were cleaning up the trays as they put the under paper in a bin, all I want to say is from your 1st to your last with today's prices every customer is important so don't forget about us that work late ☹️

Miserly with sauce portions. Ordered a Hot Dog with any/all extras - I was given a dry burger bun with 2 sausages cut in half - not even any ketchup or mustard; how a dry bun and sliced sausages equates to a hot dog, I'll never know. Asked for a portion of curry sauce with my fish and chips, I was given the smallest possible portion cup size of curry sauce, and the sauce was globby and too thick. There was a super chip as part of the order, again, the absolute minimal amount of super chip sauce was used - disappointing. It was ordered on a Friday evening, so I can take into consideration they were maybe busy, and the order did come very quickly through Uber Eats, but the way the food came was disappointing.

The best chippy in Portadown, menu is amazing for all needs and wants, staff are always friendly and give the best service, highly recommend!!

We regularly travel from the other side of town to eat out of here. We have had just eat orders, app orders, phone orders and face to face orders here and they have always been right and the food is absolutely delicious. Portion sizes are great also and well priced. Definitely our favourite chippy!

Been a few times and won't be back. Battered fish is supposed to be nice and crunchy but not here, was soggy and horrible. Very disappointing especially when you pay so much now for a fish.
