PIZZA PALACE

So much better than Pizza Go Go which is often go to. We have tried a number of pizza places in the area and found either the base is not very good or they use cheap cheese and ingredients. Though Pizza Palace base was soft not over cooked. Ingredients and cheese spot on and the sauce had flavour.

Very disappointed, the pizza base was soggy and topping tasted bland and left funny after taste. The garlic bread was just a baguette cut up and the chicken strips weren't crispy and didn't taste like chicken, the onion rings were very soggy and limp. The only thing I enjoyed was the coleslaw and the chips.Sorry, won't be ordering from there again.

Reluctantly having to give 1 star as no option for zero stars. Old owner was clued up compared to new management since Jan 2021 who have NO sense of customer service and pride in what they do.Ordered pizza wrong topping went back to explain was told its not their problem, buttons are too close on the till asked for money back as it's the next button over and they started making the correct pizza. Very stubborn and aragant to admit they are at fault in a customer service position won't be going back again. Also prices have shot up since taking over so why bother!

I visited this place a few times about 3 years ago and at that time I thought the food was OK. I popped in a few weeks ago as I was nearby late and needed dinner quickly. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. Good service, everything was freshly cooked in front of me. Pizza base was crispy with plenty of toppings. Chips were crunchy and well seasoned. I enjoyed it, food was good. Very good value for money too, much cheaper than pizza chains. Have been back a second time and it was just as good. I wonder if there has been a change in management as food is definitely a lot better than I remember. Will definitely be ordering from here instead of domino's going forward.

Don’t know why you wouldn’t like this place, the 1 star reviews seem a bit biased or hate based. Really nice guys in store and the pizzas are up there with dominos. Really nice, keep up the good work guys!!!

Stayed at the Ramada hotel nearby and chose to order food in after the hotel wouldn't allow us to order food as the kitchen was busy. Pizza was very nice and the chips were good. I'd recommend if you're staying at the Ramada!!

Disgusting old fries, had to throw them away, called the owner to complain, no apology and stated thats how they were, will not be visiting again.In response to your reply, yes we did call to complain, your attitude and unprofessional response is exactly what we encountered on the phone. At least now all your customers can see this too.

Shocking service here. We’re regular customers, have been every week for a long time. Last week the new manager stopped card payments under £20. This week rules change, no card payment at all. Explained that surely they will lose custom as were in a modern cashless world. Still refuse. Just ordered from dominos….. loyal customer lost.

Friendly staff and really tasty pizza! Not a bad price, only down side is that they don't take cards unless you order through just eat
