On Saturday 4th November my son and his now wife held their wedding at the above venue. Two years in the planning everyone was beyond excited for the big day. We arrived at the venue and checked into our rooms all was great. Little did we know how the day would unfold with certain members of staffs attitude and behaviour, who I might add were in senior positions. We all took our seats for the ceremony and as instructed by your staff leave our drinks in the bar. The bride was running a little late but her maid of honour kept wedding planner informed regard this but no one was allowed to leave their seats. It was very warm and my sons father (who is 71 and doesn't keep in great health) asked to go through to the bar to get a drink to be told no by your staff but eventually they let him through as he insisted. After the ceremony we were ushered through to the bar area beside where we would be having our meal while the photographer was taking pictures outside. As there was not enough space for everyone in this area my 2 sisters sat outside in the reception with my brother in law and nephew. It was very cold in the reception area so my youngest sister asked Adele if they could go through to the bar beside the entrance to the hotel as they were cold. The deputy planner (A)promptly said no absolutely not and they would have to stay where they were. Disgusting given the fact that my young sister is terminally ill with lung cancer and going through treatment and must stay in as good a state of health as possible to enable her treatment to continue. Not a bit of empathy was shown.During the meal my grandson was on route to the bar to get drinks for myself, his grandfather and himself to be told yet again by Adele to go and sit down. Bearing in mind no top table waitress service was in place and no alternative was offered by her. It was being run like a military training event just unbelievable. Is this your training standard for your staff, if so it is very poor to say the least. People pay a lot of money for your venue and certainly I would expect a higher standard.I have worked for high profile companies throughout my career and if we delivered service akin to yours we would not be in our jobs very long. Customers are always right is my belief!!!!I must add that the other members of staff were amazing as was the food. Pity about the 2 individuals concerned. One bad apple can rot the whole barrell.

We got married at the Rosslea Hall Hotel yesterday (06/08/23) our ceremony/reception was small and intimate and was made all the more special by Lynn and her team's attention to detail, the sun shone (1st time in 3weeks) so our ceremony was able to be outside on the front lawn. Our dog Evie was included in every part of our day. We could not recommend it enough for any function big or small tou are treated as part of the Rosslea's loving family x x

An evening meal. Dull, rather tatty, dining room. Choice of menu limited and quality of food, plus cooking, basic. Have had much better in a basic pub! And this cost about 3 times more! To be avoided.

Staff were very friendly and although the rooms were a good size, the bed is very firm and rooms look abit tired". The bathroom could be updated as some of the grout has cracked and a hole drilled into the tile where i assume a toilet roll holder may have been there previously. The view from the restaurant is lovely and breakfast is quite good. It was nice to have a cooked breakfast."

I was taken along with my daughter for my first afternoon tea by my wife.We were treated to a wide selection of sandwiches and cakes, as well as tea in fine china. There was a warm welcome from the reception and the waiting staff who engaged warmly with us throughout. There was so much food the hotel staff offered to wrap the excess so I was able to enjoy it all again later in the evening.I would thoroughly recommend the Rosslea to anyone.

We had our wedding here on the 4th November and the customer service was absolutely appalling from 2 Senior staff members. They were cheeky to myself, my husband and our guests. The room was dated and decor was awful. I raised a 3 page complaint letter to the regional manager about the horrific events at our wedding and no action was taken to rectify their faults. For any future brides looking at this venue I would strongly advise against.

Hotel was nice but restaurant was a complete rip off. Nearly 25 quid for a beef stew with dumplings and it wss small with loads of carrots and only one tiny dumpling ". When i complained the chef told the waiter that that was my lot basically. I get the feeling that its saps like me funding their bargain "getaway deals". Will bever go back."

We had a great stay. The breakfast is very good and all of the staff in the hotel were friendly. The outside of the hotel could do with some TLC, but inside it is well decorated and comfortable.

Just took my Grandson to have breakfast with Santa. What a fantastic morning we had. Lynn and her team of Elves done Santa proud. Food was delicious, fun activities and then a visit from Santa. Was great to see all those happy wee faces as Santa went round and spoke to everyone. Well done Rosslea Hall Hotel.

Outstanding small local hotel. Not the newest or most luxurious but excellent in its class. Good sized rooms. Very helpful staff. Excellent breakfast and dinner.
