Great service from both vet and support staff, very professional yet friendly while dealing with my feisty cat.

I have been with Wilson's since they first came to Aycliffe. Friendly and extremely professional serviceI would never take my pets anywhere else.

I've used Wilson Veterinary Group for many years, previously with cats and more recently with dogs. I've always been greeted by friendly and helpful reception staff. The Vet staff always listen to my concerns and they explain things clearly about procedures my pet will receive.I chose this Veterinary Group for a number of reasons but the biggest reason is ithe Bishop Auckland branch is open 24 hours a day, so I know my pet can get the help it needs day or night by caring staff.

We only recently changed over to this vets after being with a different practice for years. These guys are fab. They go over and above at every visit. Gemma is absolutely fab, making my nervous two feel loads better during their visit. The nurses are happy to give advice without an appointment and the vets didn't charge full price when a broken dew claw was easier to deal with than first expected. There customer care is second to none!

ROBERY!!! I took my dog in last week because she lost fur around her neck, under her arm pits & legs with a rash. The vet went on as if she didn’t have a clue what it was. It could be this or it could be that. She then took her out the room came back with her nails clipped, what I didn’t ask for, then she said I’m going to give her antibiotics & a spot on. I said but she doesn’t have flees does she? She said no but just going to give her it anyway. I was thinking why?. Then this cream for her neck, still not knowing if it was the right thing or what the rash was caused by. The vet also said to bring her back in 1 weeks time to try something else if that didn’t work. I then walked to the counter puzzled and was told that would be £105. What? For a rash & things she doesn’t need like spot on & her nails clipped & the cream that might not work because she still hasn’t found the root of the problem.When I went home I felt as if she had just added on as much as she could just to get more money out of me & to come back next week to the same. I’d love to. Never felt so robbed & my pugs rash has got worse, but I will not be returning there.Paying an arm & leg because of could be’s! Experienced vets are suppose to know these things.

We have seen Vets Hugh and Kathryn at this practice, both are absolutely brilliant in every sense of the word. Took my cats for their 6 month check up. I am on the VIP plan so no charges to pay for. Flea and worming included. If you have cats see Hugh, very knowledgeable.
