I've been trying different chip shops around the area....this gets top marks all round. Excellent value,Large chips is massive, chips are well cooked, with a flavour . Curry sauce, home made is the best I've had in years.Battered cod ..£5.50 small ...so much flavour, little grease and crispy , light batter. Fantastic.I can not praise this chip shop enough. I live 9 miles from the shop, but it's 9 miles worth travelling .

This was a bonus! We intended going to another chippy in North Walsham with really good reviews and closer to where we are staying, but for some reason they don't open on Friday! So tried here instead and glad we didAll cooked to order, really good fish and equally fresh chips. Obviously popular as queues were out of the door. Portions are large- a small cod n chips each was more than adequate. All the good reviews seem to be well deserved

It's the best fish and chip shop in North walsham, the portion sizes are brilliant and the staff are very friendly, you can't visit North walsham without visiting this chip shop on Stanley Road.

Well cooked fish, decent chips and an absolute A grade curry sauce. We had regular size fish, and it was a very generous portion. You'd be hard pressed to find better value and quality.

Worst curry sauce ever! The chips seem very mixed as well and not brilliant. Chicken burger tastes of grease. The only positive I can say is the portion sizes are good. Won't be rushing back.Edit 28/04/23 Curry sauce is a lot better than it was and so are the chips!

Very busy, waited a long time from ordering to getting food, but was definitely some of the best fish and chips I have had for a long time! Highly recommended.

Just had my first meal from here and I have to say, hands down one of the best chippys I've ever visited.After months of hearing my dad rant on about how good it is I finally gave in and walked to the other side of town just to try these, and boys and girls I tell you what, they were amazing.PERFECTLY cooked chips and fish, wish I'd got the curry sauce, will grab one next time and update.I don't rate food places unless they really make me feel like I have to. And this place is one to come to.Think I've found my new spot.

It was a Friday evening, the queue was out of the door. You don't need to say more to find out the good fish & chip shops. Very busy but the batter is light, the chips are not greasy and the portions provide very good value for money
