We have been into Hunters now it has been refurbished. We didn't eat but did sit at the bar and have a few drinks. The female manager and the young staff were really friendly and accommodating, we had a really nice chat with them and spent alot more time in there than planned as it was just a very nice environment to relax in. Thanks to the team and well done for turning it around.Only downside is they're still trying to get the heating reinstated from the previous oub owner, so there are a number of electric heaters around the but not this isn't a reason not to go - its definitely not cold !

This pub is the best in Cockermouth for food and overall good atmosphere. Mimi the manageress keeps the place clean and tidy and with a welcoming smile and service makes this place the best in Cockermouth to go for a drink and food Thank you Mimi

Beer is limited range but IPA was decent service was prompt and staff very good. Food range was extremely limited so that reduced rating

Quiz night on a Wednesday is great fun. Happy hour until 7pm. Sports channels on the TVs. Warm welcome and lovely clean pub.

Lovely bar, staff are friendly. Sky sports and dog friendly. Decor is very nice, if in the area need to try it
