ARC under took a structural inspection of our house under direction from David Wilson Homes after we found an issue with our mortar, ARC carried out a full inspection and advised that our mortar, which appeared weak and flaky, was only a surface issue, they advised to repoint the whole house and garage, we disagreed with ARC's findings and BRE were engaged to inspect, BRE found that the whole of the mortar contained too many air voids and that bedding & perp joints had not been fully filled, they also found that the bricks were upside down.
