Ninth Life Catford | Ninth Life is a multi-roomed, multi-levelled pub and venue. We have private hire spaces, a huge courtyard, pop-up food stalls, a staged area and a nine-room interactive theatre gaming experience, and we’re open til 3am at the weekends.

Funky hipsters pub that has a massive outdoors section which is very popular with young trendy good looking types . The place is massive with rooms here and there all decorated to the hipster vibe , graffiti, fake grass on the walls , strange objects scattered everywhere oversized lampshades etc etc . Decent selection of beers and not that bad prices . I can imagine this place being really busy on weekends as the have djs playing 80s and 90s hip hop tables and chairs everywhere so not a problem with seating small dancefloor for people to let loose but I'm sure people just dance in the garden if they want to . Fish and chips with a twist was good . all the food has got a jerky flavour runny through it . I particularly liked the old boy playing on the pacman sit down arcade machine . He said he hadn't gone on one since the 80s . Hasn't lost the skills though . The only thing I didn't like was the service at the bar . It was quite busy but the 2 bar staff hadn't grasped the concept of who arrived at the bar first so they just served who they wanted in a pot luck kinda way .

Love this pub! Been a few times now and never disappointed. Nice big beer garden and love the atmosphere of the place, Staff are always friendly and welcoming which is nice. Look forward to coming back soon!

Food was good. Staff seemed very overstretched. Nice atmosphere in the front pub area. Asked whether they provided (or sold) earplugs as the music was incredibly loud. Was told just a point-blank no." Felt a bit careless. I work in a venue and it would piss me off to treat customers like this. Any responsible venue (especially if you do live music and DJ) will have earplugs to protect both audiences and staff. Also

The mens toilets are almost unbearable to use.Absolutely filthy and no evidence of them being cleaned recently. Floors filthy, smell unbearable. Sort it out. This is a family friendly pub but people will not seek to book any occasions or events where very basic cleanliness in toilets is not observed.

Really great experience here. What an epic space for a pub/restaurant... We had some good food on a quiet, rainy Monday night but this place I am sure gets very busy. Food ordering is done by app - app worked really well - quick and easy to order with. We ordered burgers which were very generous portion sizes and filling. Very efficient, friendly service. The place is Ideally spaced out if you are worried about the C word.The creative, artistic vibes of this place is what makes it here and you really must check out the different areas, especially the “Curiosities” cabinet with eye holes into mini artistic designs.We were impressed. Recommended.

Visited Ninth Life for the food at Twerk'n'Jerk and I was not disappointed!The sharing platter was delicious, perfectly presented and a really generous portion size. Served up by a team who take great pride in what they do and enjoy seeing customers enjoy their creations.Star of the show for me was the 'Oh my sweet' loaded jerk fries. Best loaded jerk fries I've ever had and will definitely be going back with friends for some more soon!Thanks all for a great time. We really enjoyed :)

This gaff had a pretty decent selection of beers on offer compared to other places in town and is more targeted towards a younger crowd which is good.There was also a big beer garden with a variety of outdoor bench seating and some areas that are covered too.The interior was quirky and staff friendly too.

We had a fabulous time here last weekend. Had booked the stables out the back for a large group & lots of children. The team couldn’t have been better on the day: so welcoming and accommodating. Big thanks to Jacob, Will, Charlie and everyone else in the team for giving us such a fun and relaxing afternoon.But extra massive shout out to Mr Barns & Jason in the kitchen - the food was fab & everyone was very happy. Recommend the Curried Goat.Hope you’ll have us back next year.

South EAST London at it best. 33 pounds for two beers and two mains.Super value for money. A cheese burger with bacon, stacked with gurkens unions lettuce and a gorgeous sauce burger cooked to perfection.Comes with crispy chips and home made coleslaw. It was all delicious.Fish and chips and peas with sea salt and vinger, generously sized fish with a good portion chips.Another tasty dish.The pub is vast with different seating areas. Children friendly up to about seven when it switches over to evening entertainment, best to check thier website for up to date information as it changes.Overall a solid unqiue pub with funky decor great food well priced food and drinks that puts many an over priced uptown establishment to shame.

Had a really great time with friends here on Tuesday, we came for the pub quiz, didn’t win but still had fun. Food was amazing too, jerk chicken with rice and peas cooked beautifully. Would definitely recommend this pub, hats off to Jacob and his team
