Asda Doncaster Superstore

Poor experience yesterday. Had to call in for Free From bread and essentials. The gluten free bread section was an absolute disgrace, nothing in the right place, literally just thrown on so you didn't know the price without searching for it, very limited choice and free from cakes that were a month out of date! I don't choose to eat gluten free, it's a necessity and you've just made the experience even worse. Also if you're going to have a Christmas free from section remove the mini cheddar and various other things that contain gluten. You've got managers wandering round the store, get them busy.

ASDA Gliwice Way, Bawtry Rd, Doncaster DN4 5NW....you should be ashamed of yourselves....your Beef Roasting Joints are absolutely disgusting. I went out of my way to travel to you to buy one and ⅔of the joint is just fat and sinews. I paid £12 of my hard earned money and travelled an hour roadtrip and had to feed it to the dog. Whoever your quality manager is should go back into training because they don't have a clue about meat.Sort you people out ASDA or your business is going to suffer because of it. !!!!!!! You have now lost a loyal customer. I will make it a point never to buy from you again

Hi owner I hope you will see this messageI am writing this in terms a service to Asda store,I am a regular customer of Asda stores doing shopping twice in a week at leastSomething strange happen to me and my wife with one of your guys ( Asda staff )in the storeI have been waiting more than 10 minutes for a customer service coming to sort the pay machines out for usI only shout a customer service to let them know there is a point need a serviceThe guy in the reception desk in front of the entrance door shout on me if I don’t like the store don’t come back and leave the shooing I have done it alreadyWhen I was coming out the store , he threatening me with his finger and he got none sense angry on me which it was not necessary at all the body guard just looking at him but saying nothing while I was quiet calm down and explaining that I was not doing such a bad thing just asking for customer service but he insisted on his behaviour that I am banned in Asda superstoreMy I know how people be banned from somewhereUp to know nobody told me I am banned from some where as I was not doing such a bad behaviour like your staff did it in the storeI call him my brother why you doing this behaviour he was saying don’t call me brother I don’t care about you and then I knew he is not a straight man.He is short height 160cm and short hair , I think he had earrings wearing Asda vets and I have seen him behind the door.Shouting, Swearing, Threatening FOR WHAT!!

I am a visitor to Doncaster. I did not realise that on a Sunday the tills only open at 10. I wanted to use the cash atm but stayed to shop for Sunday lunch. I shopped, then joined the self service queue to wait for the tills to open at 10. It was about 9.50am. My husband slightly concerned that I had not emerged from the atm called my mobile. I answered and explained that I was going to slightly longer because it only opens at 10. I was not complaining just explaining. Immediately that I put down the call. The male customer in front of me started shouting at me saying :” it’s only 6 minutes to wait , you should be glad that you even have goods to buy you ungrateful b…h! I was shocked needless to say. I asked him why was he getting involved in a conversation that did not involve him.?! He turned to the customers in front of him and made a general statement about how refugees are being housed at tax payers expense. I ignored him but was visibly upset when I returned to our car. My husband wanted to come in and report it. But I wanted to leave.What a shame ! I loved the Asda steak pies I purchased and the desserts I purchased but I will never return to your store.

I went and did my grocery shopping on Monday, 6th November 2023 and member of staff was very helpful. I like Asda they are the best for having everything that an immigrant from Jamaica living here in UK can get their produce and products

I've noticed a significant change in their operating hours. Despite their claims of being open 24 hours, the store has been closing at 10 pm every night, except Sundays when it shuts even earlier as expected.On attempting to enter the store, I was met by a security guard who, instead of understanding my confusion, acted as though I should have magically known about their altered hours. This, despite signs and even Google suggesting otherwise.When it is possible to shop it's like entering a freezing. I thought they had the aircon on through summer, but the colder temperatures outside and the persistant chill this made my shopping experience extremely uncomfortable. This seems like an issue thats here to stay. I knew this might still be the case so I did wear extra layers so I was suprised that I was still really cold, which stopped me from browsing the clothing section and make my purchases quickly.I expect a certain level of service, even if it is security, but unfortunately this experience fell far short of those expectations.

Awful situation on checkouts. Self service basket area, self service trolley area. Staff doing anything including nothing rather than going on an actual till to try and alleviate the massive queues stretching up the aisles adjacent to the the three or four checkouts open in this non super superstore. Pathetic. The Management and supervisors ought to be ashamed about how they are ruining this once fabulous place.

Hi dear management I’m taxi driver i complain almost 2 times about taxi bey (pick up drop off)point where people parked and do shopping and for taxis it’s difficult to pick and drop,I told inside security about this they said we don’t care outside we do inside security .it’s your customer we gave service sometimes old people,kids or anyone who have lots of stuff how can we pickup please you tell me ,today 20 minutes before happened same. I’m regular customer but as taxi driver I park proper place so please take serious action against these types of people that there never park pickup and drop off point.hopefully this time you take action thanks

Asda in Doncaster has to be one of their flagship stores across the area. With a range of products on offer, you can usually find what you need within the store without having to look too far. It's also a great store for video game and film releases and they always have several copies in stock which is ideal.I usually drive past my local asda to visit this one at the dome as it just has much more on offer compared to the other stores in the area. The Cafe here is fantastic too, which is always an added bonus to the visit.The toilets are usually clean too and they are regularly maintained which is expected from supermarkets and Asda take care of it perfectly.

We like big Asda always a decent selection of products. George clothing is good value and looks nice in my opinion. Always plenty of parking.Staff are friendly and pleasantCafe had a children eat for a pound when we popped in. Food was nice. Really well priced.
