Arrivals is tiny, Literally the smallest airport I've ever seen. But departures is brilliant, plenty to do and prices weren't bad.

This must have been expecting a busy day as I had to walk through about 100m of barriers to get to the check in with 3 other people...other than that, breezed straight through no issues.

As always the airport is what it is. We arrived at the airport in plenty of time (maybe a tad too early) to be on the safe side for catching our flight. There had been talk of delays getting the bags dropped and going through security etc but it was smooth enough for us.

For a change it was quite quiet. All units open for business.The tannoy announcements are not easy to understand and the announcer is not clear in their speech. It would be very difficult for those who either do not have English as first language or have difficulty reading the departure screens.

The worst thing about Belfast Airport is the smell from the toilets in departures but even worse in arrivals. Its not a very good impression when you leave boarder control and you can smell the toilets from the top of the elevator. Come on how hard is it to get someone to keep them clean
