Drove for almost 2 hours all the way from Bristol to pick up a car that they said was ready to go. On arrival the car did not start and the worker tried to jump start the car, unsuccessfully. The man laughed it off after we showed our frustrations about the situation and clearly lying about how long the car had been sat around for. Fortunately my holding deposit was refunded but overall a terrible experience and a lack of empathy from the staff member made the situation even worse. Could have been avoided if they had just checked the car beforehand. Would not recommend.

Do NOT recommend. I would leave no stars if I could. Told a deposit was refundable (no caveats stated!) and when the finance company declined to finance a vehicle at this garage due to bad reviews, (including terrible aftercare service), they refused to refund and I was then told by the same person they don't do refundable deposits and that I didn't understand the motor industry. I know what refundable means! So I was told a barefaced lie either originally or after taking my money! Be very careful trusting a word you're told by this immoral company! Having read lots of reviews since, we're very grateful to have dodged a bullet!!!! Do yourself a favour..... take your money elsewhere!!

Recently done a part ex towards a car they had in stock. Phoned in the morning and spoke to Jack, said I would been there in the afternoon and the car was ready to be viewed.Plenty of cars to look at and staff are professional and polite. Cars were clean and maintained while sitting in the forecourt.Gave a fair price on my old car and made a deal on my new car. Very accommodating as I needed time to return my car back to stock. Car was ready and waiting on the day I chose to arrive.Paperwork was straight forward and they made it a breeze to get me on the road asap with my new car.Nothing to complain about, car is amazing and definitely worth a look down there

What a great company, I'm only giving a five because that's the most, I'd give them ten if I could.I initially spoke to Jack about the Mazda 6 I was interested in & he was really helpful. I left a deposit & travelled up from North Devon on the Saturday & was greeted by Lawrence who was professional & courteous, showed me around the car, pointing out to main features & options.He was there to greet me after I took the car for a test drive & we completed the paperwork, transferred the balance, he taxed it on my behalf & transferred the ownership.Easiest car I've ever bought & by far the nicest, cleanest and blemish free for its age.The drive back to Devon was full of stop/start bank holiday traffic but I didn't care one jot because I was enjoying every second of it.I'd highly recommend them & specifically Lawrenze.I'll always speak as I find and shout from the rooftops when I get good service. This is one of those occasions.Well done boys, another very satisfied customer.

So, for context, I bought my car from UK Car Sales in March of this year - it’s a 13 plate and had around 67k miles on at the time of purchasing.All was going ok and was really pleased with the car for the first 4 months, until my exhaust fell off which I had to replace. Now, given the age of the car I didn’t want to be hasty and leave a poor review, as I wanted to give the benefit of the doubt and just put it down to wear and tear.However, after today having to fork out money just before Christmas to have my gearbox and clutch replaced - I thought now is the time to share. My mechanic returned my car to me today, stating that with the state of the gearbox and clutch in my car - he is surprised it was even still driving. My mechanic also stated that it is likely that there was an issue long before it’s come to light with me, which was masked by overfilling the gearbox with oil. Had my gearbox not been leaking oil, I probably wouldn’t have noticed the noise leading me to get it checked out - and the gearbox probably would have just randomly gone at any point whilst I was driving it. Not only is this a risk to anybody in the vehicle including myself, but I also travel with children in the car on a frequent basis.I have now shelled out over £1,000 in the last 9 months. Which is disappointing for any car owner in that time frame - let alone when the purchase value of my car was around £4k.I appreciate it is a risk buying from any second hand car dealership, but I advise anyone going to these guys getting the car they intend to purchase checked by a reputable mechanic. Or you are likely to find yourself extremely out of pocket as I have.

After requesting the week prior that the car had a full tank of fuel on collection, I arrived to be informed that it had not been filled up and the petrol light was on. Frustrating but not the end of the world I thought, until I only managed to get 1 mile down the road when the car completely cut out as the was NOTHING left in the tank. 1 mile!?! Thankfully passers by helped me push the car to the petrol station but this is absolutely disgusting from UK Car Sales. I also asked for the car to be properly cleaned inside and out which obviously wasn't done either. It's too late for me but don't go with these guys, avoid as much as you can!
